He was underrated before the rework, now he’s just a shit plasma pea with less splash, less range, and citron abilities. The only way you can get kills with this guy is if you abuse e.m peach, and even you would be lucky to kill anything with more than 100 health.

I’ve never found this character particularly good in really any way. Only his second charge is really viable, and it can’t kill high health enemies. I actually think guys like Cosmic Brainz are actually quite underrated, and I even think Unicorn Chomper is more viable than people think. Basically yeah this character can potentially do stuff, but it’s not gonna get out of the bottom 5 for me.

@Fearless Gabe it's still not enought to make him the best Citron. You also have to consider Iron Citron and Party Citron (specially on ledendary mode). Both against high hp classes have a much higher ttk, and in medium there isn't a huge difference. Ecitron is far from the worst Citron, but calling him the best just makes him the most overrated character in gw2.

As a new player I feel like Citron doesn't have a completely useless variant. Even Toxic Citron. Sometimes I love having 80 assists, good in Ops too just not solo. Since I play on console, I actually prefer the feel of E-Citron to regular. It might be because I haven't figured out my sensitivity but tracking with Citron is hard on controller.

Ok, a message to everyone getting upset that he thinks a character that is widely considered bad is in fact actually good. I respect the opinion that you don’t enjoy this character, but keep in mind that A: Any character can be good with enough practice, B: It’s a goofy game made primarily for children, and C: Just because you can’t snipe people from across the map as a Citron like the old days doesn’t mean you can’t play well with E-Citron.
