Is prey drive, good or bad? Is playing tug or using flirt poles bad? How do I stop my dog from nipping/biting? Why does my dog chew everything? How do I stop him from herding my kids? Why does he bark nonstop? This is Rigby, an intact Belgian Malinois. He idles at 90. It's not a good first dog for most people. Luckily, he found a loving home with a responsible dog ower. They got him socialized & trained early. Through healthy outlets like rabbit hunting... he's never caught one. ( NO RABBITS WERE SQUISHED IN THE MAKEING OF THIS FILM) His behavior has improved in the home & around small animals/kids. He plays tug, flirt pole, in my opinion not bad, just giving him a healthy way to do what come naturally, especially in this breed. Then you get less chasing kids, chewing on shoes/furniture, digging, etc. It's also a way to keep your e-collar training sessions fun! After a few rabbit chases, I can leave my shoes on the floor & my food on the table and not worry about him getting it. He looks forward to the training sessions. He shoves his nose in the training collar & is ready to go. Good luck on the hunt, Rigby! #caninebehavior #doglife #belgianmalinois #workingdog #dogtraining @2ndChanceCanine
