Hi Mr.GK I beg to differ from what you said at @4:52 the atmosphere will not reflect all the radiation from sun, if that is happening we will not receive any sunlight. Also atmosphere ~= air is transparent and it allows the sun’s radiation to pass through it. It’s the earth which absorbs the heat from sun that is why we feel colder when we go up a hill i.e if we go up from surface of earth. So the air around us is heated by the heat radiated back from earth surface. This is explained clearly by neil de grasse tyson the famous astrophysicist in his startalk series available in youtube.

I also agree, earth absorbs the heat from the sun and radiates back is a simple concept .I wonder how Mr.GK missed this. This is clearly observed with altitude change .At 40000 feet (Flight level)outside temperature is -60 C. What the girl said is somewhat true. During Sep - Oct due to monsoon onset ,the earth surface will dissipate more heat. When there is some rain after prolonged heat ,you will feel warmer since the earth surface is gradually dissipating heat to become cooler .Something like sprinkling water on hot pan. Human Body gets some time to get adjusted to the temperature change so it is better to avoid Non -Veg during the transition time. Once the body get used to the temperature then it is ok to take non -veg.

yes it is correct .My explanation I also agree, earth absorbs the heat from the sun and radiates back is a simple concept .I wonder how Mr.GK missed this. This is clearly observed with altitude change .At 40000 feet (Flight level)outside temperature is -60 C. What the girl said is somewhat true. During Sep - Oct due to monsoon onset ,the earth surface will dissipate more heat. When there is some rain after prolonged heat ,you will feel warmer since the earth surface is gradually dissipating heat to become cooler .Something like sprinkling water on hot pan. Human Body gets some time to get adjusted to the temperature change so it is better to avoid Non -Veg during the transition time. Once the body get used to the temperature then it is ok to take non -veg.
