It's good man, I finally switched from save scumming to iron man, and it's made the game so much more fun, I've played alot, but these videos of someone playing and talking it through have opened my eyes even more.

That's awesome. Ironman really does improve my enjoyment of the game. Without it, I get lazy, and I don't really think through my choices, which is what this game was designed for.

BROOOOOOOOO! I really wanted to like poachers but their start is one of the worst starts in the game, 2nd to only Lone wolf, imo. I really like being able to scout everything before going in but starting with 3 ranged with 40 something skill makes me want to rope myself. It's really bad if the towns near by don't off much for cheap bros. On one of my starts the first town I went to, every bro cost 1k+. I'm like damn, where are these bros when I'm like 50 days in with some money? lol

They actually have one of the best starts in the game. Increased campaign speeds is one of the best traits there is. And base ranged stat max is always lesser than melee attack max out of design. The poachers make great thrower hybrids. And Lone wolf is actually an incredibley easy start as well. Beast hunters, deserters are considered the hard starts.

I have a feeling that you’re overvaluing the bonus accuracy from Aimee shot, compared to the more reliable opportunity of damage of the quick shot. You only take Aimee shot when you have to take 1 step, or when the extra range matters.

The only other thing as funny as 15:20 I've seen, is a brigand leader round-housing a teammate with his axe and morale-checking himself into fleeing.

@@wkatz0 It was an odd set of circumstances. Circa day 130, I'm clearing out a bandit camp to farm money and end up in a situation, where there's 1 wounded enemy and a brigand leader on wavering morale surrounded by 4 of my guys, and the leader had a 2h axe. All bros had good melee def / dodge and nimble, so I wasn't worried. The guy swings, misses all 3 of my guys around him, kills his friend turns fleeing.

That's awesome. Yeah those would be the conditions. I love this game, cause it's like... that Brigand Leader still had a sliver of hope, even in those circumstances. But TKing his bro apparently was the last straw. Also I dagger brigand leaders on principle even when I don't need their gear, just as a flex on filthy briggies.@@petresko1041

Hey, thanks man. Real life happens, and I got busier, but I may be able to do some more videos soon. I've got a bunch of videos of the early game, and if you can nail the early game that will take you a long way towards having a really solid run.
