When I go home my mother (in law) is so happy to cook for us and do everything she could even though she is old( in 70s) and has age related health problems. She is just happy that we are around. Even if I help in the kitchen she will ask me to go look after my kids as they are very young. She makes sure there is a maid at home when we are there. Those who haven't experienced that love will say bad things don't worry. My dad passed away but my husband's dad is same like yours. He doesn't like to leave his house and exact 12. 30 he has to have lunch😂. So he doesn't even want to come with us when we go for trips.
