It's such a hard decision. They're both waterproof and they're both great cars. It really comes down to if you want to upgrade it or not. The rustler has way more companies that make upgrade parts for it. We haven't had problems with either, it's mainly which brand you prefer supporting. You can't go wrong with either ;)

I can’t stand Traxxas anymore seeming that they have lawsuits on every other RC company out there. Now they’re suing Arrma. Plus they’re overpriced. My son has the VXL and it’s fast. But for me I’m either getting the Losi 22 or the Firestorm. More than likely the Firestorm. HPI makes great products and have great support. TLR has been slipping on support, though they make good products. I’ve noticed that the Rustler breaks easily. I’ve snapped spindles, broken a shock mount, destroyed a planetary gear.

@rccrazer I have no idea what they were, but I found these plastic zig-zag mounts (almost like spacers) in a old tool kit. I drilled wholes in the body and just attached with strews. The way they're shaped, I can just rotate them so that the wing sit close over the body, or hanging farther away like in the beach bash vid.

@orchidguitar Yah, you can run the big bores on any 10th scale. I like them more, they're really smooth with losi shock oil.

Cyconxc When I get one myself I will get these tires then^^ Cause in nearly every video the E Firestorm seems to spin on the road xD BTW: Have installed shorter springs? The HPI seems VERY low in that video.

It's hard to say, but the E-Firestorm is lighter. So if they were geared the same, it would be a little faster.
