Hi Mark! She’s a cutie and she loves RC cars 😊 Ahh, yeah, the first seconds was the reason why I just had to upload this video. RC family fun at its best 😍 I was alone so the few seconds I got on film was all. The rest was just old-fashioned fun without the camera. We used up a 5000 mah battery. All the best to you and your daughter too

Yeah, better voltage! I think, even though it’s a brushless motor, running a 5700 kv in the grass soon drains the battery 🤭😊

Hi bro! Yeah, but now it seems like rain and the cold has come back again 😅 Welk, at least there was a few days of spring feeling. The gear box in this is solid. Can easily handle the 5700 kv motor. Probably a whole other set up on the jumpshot. Cool looking car though, by the way. And thanks! She loves RC Cars 😍

Hiya Mikael. Ah good to see you and daughter having some joy with the Firestorm. I was thinking it was a bit slow on the grass so was that just a dodgy battery? 5700kv is a lot. Mine came with a 4000kv. If it's also got tall gearing then it might be too much strain on the system? You know I was thinking about selling mine even though I like it. I've actually got 2 like you with a donor car for spares. I worry about the long term availability of spares which is a great shame as I'd defo keep it if I knew I could get parts. Don't know why they never re-released this as it's a great RC. Best wishes mate 🙂

Hiya Pete! Nah, it was just at the end of the run. My daughter and me spend a lot time of in the grass, before I had the idea of filming 10 seconds 😊 But yeah, the tall thick winter-lawn might have something to do with it too. Huh? 4000 kv? I think I have to check up on my numbers then. I just took the kv rating from one of my old video descriptions. Pretty sure it is 5700 kv though. That also might have something to do with it’s ability on grass, I agree. Ahh, yes. I’m pretty sure this one won’t be staying with me too for the rest of my life. But I am happy to give it a new chance with this new body I like the looks of, and yes, the stock rear tires are quite good! He he, I am not too worried about spares, since I almost never run my RC’s in the ‘Pete Wylie’ bash style 😊 I wonder too why they do not re-release it, like the other ones. It is quite well known so it must have been selling good. I might ask HPI. They are located near me … though I am not sure they would let me in if I showed up on their door step. 😶😊 Best wishes to you too, my good friend.

Hi there and a great run with the HPI, that first battery seemed to be a bit of slouch? Was it not charged fully? The second batter seemed to have more punch and speed. Great running. 😊😉😊oh priming the little one for a transmitter in the hand experience? Bless? 😉😊😉

Hi John! I think it was charged fully, I just think I lost track of time. Spend a lot of time with my daughter, running in the grass, so when I finally got to the street I think it was out of juice 🙂
