Beautiful aircraft, just ordered one. Really detailed unboxing and build segment. My wife wants you to go into more detail about putting it in the wrong hole, she's a virgin on certain subject matter, especially rc aircraft...

“Brian Phillips RC”, I love the third person references!! Thank you, thank you for your detailed display and explanation of the radio setups for each of these models. It’s priceless to me and I’m so grateful. One of these days I might remember how to do it myself but inevitably 6 weeks pass before I acquire a new model and then I forget the steps!! Fortunately I have you and “camera-crew” to rely on. Sincerely; very grateful for your unique and instructive content. Many thanks. 🙏

Awesome! Glad we could be of some help! It is hard when it's JUUUUUUUST long enough to forget 95% of what you need - LOL - it's like 100% of every industrial training program I've ever used!!! LOL LOL LOL...cry Glad you're here with us, and FYI, 3rd person references - yeah, not trying to be too annoying, but shameless self promotion is part of the "game" and I guess I'm a player - LOL - but really, it's more to help people recognize the "brand" and trying hard to get people to know what the website is...since it's soooooo dang much work for Megan (aka camera crew) and we really want people to know about that resource. It really is a ton of work, and Megan does like 99.99995% of the work on the website, and she is very good at keeping it up to date. One of our HUGE pet peeves in any web site is broken links, and old information, so we (aka SHE) work hard to keep it relevant and current, so this is a small way I can try to help promote "her baby" - hope this helps, and might make some sense ;)

@@BrianPhillipsRC Dude. Your humor (sack of nuts…and bolts) is so appreciated, not annoying at all. Love it. And I can only imagine the effort and time it takes to create and maintain the site. I even attempted a video once (gave up after an hour) so massive props to you and Megan! And yes, Spektrums radios are amazing, but the menus are far from intuitive so your tutorials are just clutch. Precisely right, juuuuuuust long enough to forget; I’ve started to make notes 📝 which is helpful but each model seems to pose another little twist in the setups. Thanks again Megan and Brian Phillips at “Brian Phillips RC” 🤪!

One thing I wish you had mentioned BEFORE the build. Allen drivers needed to assemble. The package and advertising for this airplane made no mention of that requirement. I noticed you had a nice set of elongated drivers which is much more convenient for the tail installation. I only had the typical L shaped ones and NOT metric. Getting the tail on without a metric driver is impossible. I had to order some to get the job done. It was pretty much impossible with such a short driver.

YEAH, and I use them all the time. They were a gift from a subscriber, and here's the link to the set we use, if you're curious. bprc.me/NuofanScrewdriverSet I'd suggest considering this, if you want to emulate our experience.

Awesome finally a new beautiful super decathlon on the market besides OMP balsa one, News flash not all high wing civilian planes are bush planes with flaps guys its designed to be aerobatic 1st and foremost.

@looneytunes4710 ай бұрын
@@chrisj8307 Yes the OMP one is fantastic and beautiful and breaks into a million peices with one bad crash foamies can be glued back together and back in the air in 10 minutes so if you like to fly hard and take risk close to the ground the foam one wins everytime user,s choice

Brian where do you purchase that complete set of hex drives and the white tool caddy?
@BrianPhillipsRC4 ай бұрын
You can find all of the primary tools we use over on our Supplies page at www.brianphillipsrc.com/supplies As for the white tool caddy, you'll need to order an ebike and save some of the foam to make your own amazing garbage tool holder. :)

Does anybody actually do a full build and finish any more. I remember in another lifetime, that was easily at least 50% of the satisfaction of the hobby. The patience and sense of accomplishment when you roll up at the flightline for that first flight with a new creation from your own hands. The fact that it actually had to comply with the laws of flight and physics to be successful. A thing that appears to be almost irrelevant in many of todays models with ridiculous power to weight ratios. Propellers with wings, so to speak. Every flight you got before tragically plowing it into the ground, was a bonus, then back to the workshop for a rebuild, as more often than not the engine and radio gear survived. Or back to the drawing board for the next challenge if it didn't end reasonably well. 4 stroke engines in scale (ish) models lumbering past with a sense of realism rarely accomplished with 2 strokes and even less with electric and foam. Is there such a thing still in existance, because if there is, I may get drawn back.

Highkey for the reach this guys channel gets I actually view it as a complete turn off that they send him used models. Not cause I think Brian is some RC god, but like just as a common sense consumer he offers a guy like me a front row seat to the money I will be spending and it’s SOOO foolish and tacky that they send these channels used models.. shell out a dash of money and send them new stuff- half of what us consumers get out of these videos is a comfort level of knowing exactly what we are going to experience from unboxing onwards.
@Cakey83110 ай бұрын
I think he gets some of the test models, not models off the production run. They send out the test units ahead of the rest, so they get whatever is leftover. I don’t know tho. I’m just here. 😊
