The trick with the springs only because I learned the hard way is to connect your springs to the wheels, then connect to the spring retainer and the last step will be to connect the spring retainer to the body. Was soooo much easier that way.

You are a phenomenal pilot. To be able to land in the run way you do is amazing. Some have a hard time landing in a huge Rc field

Hey Brian, forgot to mention that we prefer something large making visibility a bit better for me and flaps, retracts scale details, lights all are very desirable on plane #2. Thank you, Anthony and.Logan Chaiken

1. Check this out. Take a Timber EVO, SWS, Twin, turn on its back, sight down the past your CG marks. Note the position of the faux window post relative to your marks. I noticed this is also true on the Super version I just saw you markup the Super in this video. Who needs marks when this is pretty close? 2. Put floats on your Twin Timber next time you get to fly off water. You will find it's a lot of fun. Reverse and differential thrust! I doubt that mine will ever see wheels again.

Love the yellow. Those Twimber-esque wings are a little funky looking. But I bet that thing'll look sweeeeet with floats- kicking up a wake. Then, "punch it!" Up in the air. Really having a hard time choosing which Timber to pull the trigger on, now. Amazingly, I have zero full size Timbers yet. Just my UMX TimberX- which was my very 1st plane. I've got the Maule and pa18. And I've upgraded both to where they're basically Timbers (Avian esc's, 3 bladed props, ar631's, etc.) Idk. Maybe I'll save up for the SWS- make it my 1st "wood experience"😊 Love the new short format ! ( only 2 hours??? 😂) Love the pond updates, too!! Still trying to work out a road trip to Nall this weekend! Hope you guys are having a blast!! 👍

Omg I loved this plane and the way you presented it??) That was awesome! I'm actually your new subscriber who is watching you from Azerbaijan, Baku. I always been on gas end glow engines and few months ago I've purchased my first electro , Conscendo Evolution!! And only now I watched your video of it, and enjoyed your review. And in addition, I've enjoyed your video about Extra 300 HH, and ordered one few days ago, that's going to be my second electric. I loved the whey you and your spouse present everything in very honest mode. So keep in mind, you have fan from Azerbaijan!:) Guess what is going to be my next electric? It's going to be Super timber 1.7!!)) have a lovely day!:)

Hello Brian, my grandson and I can use your professional opinion on our second plane. We were considering the Super Timber, we saw your video, but read some negative comments about the weight and not really being a STOL plane. We are open to any brand you may suggest. We get most from Amazon, so returning it is not an issue, although we would rather make a good choice up front. Thanks so much, and really admire your property and hope to have enough space in our next home to fly in my backyard.

This plane is amazing. If it's you're SECOND plane, might be a BIT more plane than you "need" but who's saying it's NOT STOL?!?!?!? That's insanity. This plane IS STOL. It is NOT a first plane, since it WAY more plane that I would suggest for a "Beginner" but that's not to say you couldn't fly it. SAFE makes many planes that would be a TERRIBLE idea 10 years ago, not only possible, but productive choices. Whatever you decide, good luck! bprc.me/Amazon - oops, slipped that in there ;) bprc.me/Timber

Hi Brian, I am the Vietnam vet who responded to one of your videos a few months back and subscribed to your channel and I recently saw one of your videos where you said that you could adjust the ailerons a degree and the plane could fly slower. I recently purchased a FMS 1220 Ranger and like to try this.

Hi Brian!! I love your videos - there is always something new to learn 🫶 This time i also have a question: could you tell me where did you get the white plane stand the micro draco sits on?! Who is the manufacturer? Thanks a lot for your answer! Greetz from switzerland 👋

Glad you enjoy them! Our son designed and 3D printed the Micro DRACO stand. He's printed them for a few other people, but we've never shipped one internationally. You can hit us up in an email (in the about tab) if you'd like more details!

Brian question, Saturday I followed your links to Horizon, I saw your name in the address bar on the site. I logged in and made a small purchase. I would like to think you got some commission credit, but looking at my receipt I cannot tell that you did or did not. Got on a chat call with Horizon this afternoon and they aren’t privy to that info. Wondering if I should have been logged in to Horizon first before following your link. I am going to buy the Timber and either a NX 8 or 10….would like to see the channel get credit since I have watched your set up video over and over (its been 14 years since I last was in the hobby.). Is,there a right way and wrong way to use the links? Chris.

Its easy for me to watch the entire video, Brian. Im usually fixing something i crashed earlier in the day, while your video is playing on my tablet amongst the empty foam2foam tubes, ripped out nylon hinges, broken control horns and 3 bladed prop pieces 😂 Question for you- does your son sell those 3d printed UMX plane stands? Id love to support him by purchasing one for my baby Draco 👍
@BrianPhillipsRC

Glad we can help pass the time! ;) He does sell the stands. Right now he only has designs for the Micro DRACO and UMX Conscendo. Hit us up in an email and we can get you set up!
