Twisted hobbies, crack yaks , awesome, more than half the price of this. I have a small edge , Lazer 54 and a bigger Crack yak 55. All are stunning. Stick with Twisted Hobbies

Love how slow that thing flies. No problem at the park. With Christmas and need of car tires puts this one out of range for now as i just have a futaba radio but it sure looks sweet

I build a Twisted Hobbies monoplane this year and I love it. Flying 3D is a whole different way of doing things. To land, you have to hover near yourself and catch it. Takes some practice. Lol

I live in Iceland and use winter golf gloves while flying in cold weather (-5 c). Lewis Gloves from Galvin Green are thin and I have some feeling for the sticks but hands will get cold in few minutes.

Another fun one. For not being able to fly 3D you sure flew 3D well lol. You airplane skills have greatly improved. I like the one you just reviewed today that comes with the carry case. It ends at Part 1. DJI had planned to put out a firmware update to enhance the camera settings but never did, so I had insufficient material for Part 2.

Excellent video. Has anyone out there had problems with the servos needing replacement rather soon? Several of the comments at Horizon seem to point out that they are not very good. Also, several say the foam breaks easily. I want this plane very much but I'm a bit concerned. Please help if you can. Thank you ! Carl R.

I just went to the website plane wasn't to bad but if you need the controller, batteries and whatever else they have it's becomes really expensive

If you own a SPEKTRUM radio, then you are all set. If you own a different brand such as Radiomaster or Tarrans, etc, then you would pay less for any RC plane because you’d buy the PNP version (Plug and Play). This means you will put your own compatible receiver in the plane. When I buy planes that are not made by Horizon Hobby, such as FMS planes, I always buy the PNP version and then add my own receiver. It is very similar to what everyone does in the FPV drone hobby.

Hahaha what a price!!!! Get 4 sheets of epp foam for 4 euro. Router out your design get some 1mm cf 15 meters coiled and build one for under 60€

This appears to be a blatant rip-off of the Radiolink A560 - albeit bloated to McDonald's proportions to suit Amurikan sensibilities! 😜😁 Jokes aside, it's great to see Horizon Slobby finally dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century with this, their 3rd plane in non beer cooler foam EPP after the UMX Ultrix and Ultrix 600. This does seem to be quite well constructed and reinforced but only time will tell if it has any weak points.

It dose, the landing gear are garbage on second set after 12 soft landings an they crack the fuse foam had to add plastic plates to stop an shoe goo where gear struts go into frame,flies great but will probally buy twisted epp plane airframe an put eratix hardware motor etc on twisted of same size, will be lighter an most likely fly faster an better

RC planes were the very last thing I had to learn in the RC hobby, so since I’m still learning I keep teaching myself. First love is Drones & second love is RC Planes followed by RC Helicopters then RC Trucks and Boats.
