This is a great, easy, fun and very versatile EDF. It is an F16 with narrow wheel base so it’s an intermediate + airframe. Lots of fun in sport/ aerobatics and high alpha w/ AS3X stab. Easily flown full aft elevator. Harrier landings are easy also. Great job on this one for HH/ EFlite. Thanks for vids Rich. Daren, HH Ambassador.

Nice job on this one!! The 4000 size packs are the best for this plane in my opinion because you get gobs of punch and really good flight times! This FMS edf unit would get me 4-6 mins of hard flying in the F-18 and the same with this bird but with more speed!! Dangit you are making me want one again! You don't want wanna go too far back but if there is a way to get the max throw out of the elevator the cg doesn't matter so much! Its not the CG as much as it is the throws. The AR636 with these settings limits the throw. Get in there and fiddle with the settings and your throw in max will change things.High alpha and wind are perfect combo though! This plane loves the wind and you can get landings super slow with practice! Again you do such a good job explaining all this stuff for us! Keep up the good work!

Excellent video, and I absolutely love this airframe. I'm very curious if you've flown the Eflight F-16 80mm, and if so, how would you compare the differences?
@gavstreet89764 жыл бұрын
Honestly you really don’t need to shift the cg much more than it is I’m actually a little nose heavy it just takes a little practice and it’s easier with no wind I gotta couple tips for you to get it better at high alpha with no mods at all

Do you recommend a Smart battery 3200mah 30C 6s or a Smart battery 4000mah 50C 6s for taking off in grass? Which of these batteries will give you a longer flight time? Which of these batteries will the jet go the fastest in?
@RCINFORMER4 жыл бұрын
The speed is about the same with both packs... 4000 is probably ideal, 3200 makes the plane super light. 4000 gives you the best flight time. I have not flown the plane from grass yet, but I will do it soon!
@RCINFORMER4 жыл бұрын
You do not have to use any smart lipos to fly in this model. You can use any lipo packs & chargers with the plane. The smart batteries CAN easily be charged with any charger.

Hi , Great video. THANKS!! I do have a couple questions and a request for help. I have been flying this F-16 for a couple weeks and love it. However, in my grass takeoffs attempts it is a very long take off/roll out in grass (Our RC field just has grass runway) and I have had several aborted attempts the tri-carriage and small wheels cause a lot of friction on the grass. If I have a strong head wind then successful, otherwise it is a long walk to the end of the runway to retrieve. I think flaperons would help but can't seem to get them to properly work. (Keep having my flaperons go down in opposite directions). Anyway, any suggestions or even a short video would be awesome to explain/show on how to do it on this F-16. (I have watched numerous KZbin videos and attempted to set up on it but still no luck). It seems that since the two ailerons servos join together into a single wire harness and then into one channel into the receiver is where I have issues and I get lost and can't make it work. Also, where did you get those bailing pliers from? I can't seem to find the exact kind anywhere... Can you provide a link? Any help would be greatly appreciated and keep the awesome videos coming!!!
@RCINFORMER4 жыл бұрын
I have not had mine on the grass yet, sometimes the grass may just be just not smooth enough to operate from you field. To use flaperons, you must remove the "Y" harness and separate the aileron servos, and plug one into the aileron channel and the other into a auxiliary channel. Then you can select the 2-aileron setting in the "wing type" or "aircraft type" menu Depending on the radio type. You can get ball link plyers almost anywhere... Check out my amazon store for a pair i found there www.amazon.com/shop/rcinformer Thanks for watching:)

Awesome flight! I have to ask, why did you add that channel to the nose and rudder with your knob on your transmitter? I’m trying to understand why you did that? Just in case I may want to do it for mine. Keep up the good work!
