Ok who ever that pilot was is a beast on the sticks! Absolutely amazing. I have this plane and honestly I had no idea it can do these things. 10-12 mins on throttle management? So grateful that my own design and scratchbuilt PI Eurofighter Typhoon G1E 70mm EDF could fly 7-10 mins on throttle management with 1,800mah 4S battery only. My colleague Leigh Windridge, is putting it up to a new level with retractable gears and moving canards. But I'm impressed with the speed of this Havoc. I may design another plane with 90mm EDF someday. Like is still a like. Giving a thumb up 👍

@@JoeSmoe1 fastest plane I have is the F-27 Evolution which I've clocked at 194kph (120mph). I have 3 EDF Jets and none can go that fast on 6S, so the claim of 140mph is a big call. I would be interested to see proof of this... Most of my EDF flights range from 3-4min with a 3300mah 6S and throttle management, so 10-12min is a big stretch. Even with a higher capacity battery, you're carrying more weight and will need more thrust to stay in the air. By the laws of physics, it becomes counter productive. But until I see a uncut flight lasting over 10min, I will not say it is or isn't possible.

You would need a lot of put put (For a jet?) throttle management or huge battery packs for long flight times. Assuming it can draw 100 Amps at WOT and draining the battery pack to zero you would have 3 minutes with a 5Ah pack, 7.8 min with a 13Ah pack and 12 min with a 20Ah pack. That's 20000mAh! Now knock off 20% to keep the batteries safe. Averaging 75A you would have 4 min -.8 (20%)=3.2 min with a 5Ah pack. I can safely get 3.5 minutes with my 80mm Avanti cruising around at half throttle. FYI you probably have noticed you can't really see a speed difference between 100% and 90% throttle but it does give more time. If you use a 5Ah pack at 100A you would need a minimum of 20C. Since all companies lie and you need a safety margin, 40C would be better. The higher the C, the heavier the pack and the higher the price. The higher the Ah, the lower the C can be.

Are you seroius? No. Would you put a 16 year old in a Lambo? Get something like an Apprentice, Timber or Carbon Cub. This has some docile qualities...for a sport jet. But it's still a 140mph jet.

The BNF Basic version of the Havoc is equipped with SAFE Select which does help pilots who are not as confident in their ability to fly something like this.
