I agree with you . I'm on the second motor , second fuselage, second Wing set , and multiple new servos on mine . I could have bought another one with the money I put into fixing this one but I just don't have the heart to let her die !!

27 planes owned now, and this plane is by far my favorite plane that I fly almost daily. It’s the only plane I have that if I crashed today I would have one on order when I get home. I love that plane.

Other than the Night Timber X i have had all the standard sized Timbers and out of them all the Timber EVO is by far the best yet. The Twimber is my least favorite, in fact I will probably sell it.

I appreciate your honest opinion. Can't say I feel the same for some other big-time KZbin RC folks. I have spent a lot of money trying to find my perfect RC airplane. I really love my new UMX Turbo Timber Evolution but its just so tiny. I want a capable plane that can be relaxing to fly if that's what I'm in the mood for. I have a friend who suffers from severe back pain. He always flies his RC planes from a lawn chair. He flies much better from a chair than I do standing. LOL

Well some lipos are just bad from the get go but it is more about lipo care than anything. I have had $10 22003s china hobby lipos last a perforn great and on the same side some of their stuff sucks. Hi “F.G.F.R.C.” Absolutely love your channel! I’m brand new to the hobby and just got through building and flying my first “yank & bank”, a Willy nillies two footer. I’m ready for the next step. What’s your opinion on the “fun cub”. I know in the past they were hard to keep in stock, now they’re pretty much available. I value your opinion, I’m going to purchase the timber or the cub. Should I flip a coin, or go with the “timber”. I found your channel just before you hired the wonderful “camera lady” and think it’s the best one out there. Thanks.

Thanks so much! I have never owned a fun cub so I cannot advise. I do recommend the Timber Turbo EVO but you may want to consider the Arrows bigfoot out of stock at the moment but I believe by November there will be more.

Yeah my Wife had the idea to park out in the field and block the sun with my truck to catch the north eastern wind flights! It worked out great!

I've got the original Timber 1.5. I like it once it is in the air but it is a pain for me to move around the garage and to transport to and from the field. I much prefer RC planes in the ~ 900-1200mm range. "But that's just me folks." 😊
