Nice to see horizon doing these kinds of videos. When I was first starting with my DX8G2, I don't think I would have ever got the programming figured out if it wasn't for Brian Phillips videos. Hope you consider doing this for every eflite model

This was by far "THE BEST" how to create a new airplane using an NX-8 transmitter that I have seen since I began looking for help last March. I was able to re-do my 3 planes the configuration that I wanted in about 45 minutes. Kudos to you sir, you are a great teacher!

You can create BNF from your transmitter and change the numbers bc differs from pdf plane for flaps and expo rates. For safe: Go to forward programming / Gyro settings/ safe select/ Safe select channel : assign your buttom (I use B bc it’s close) Check what’s is ON position 0, 1, 2 (flight modes) and adjust y you want custom) Done If forward programming it’s not working you can erase the receiver and download a fresh file to your receiver from Spektrum downloads it should work Just check that all servos are right direction if not reverse.

Can you please tell me can the DX6E be programmed to the turbo timber evo to be used with all the available functionality such as Flaps, reverse throttle and safe (beginner, intermediate and experienced modes) with out compromises like safe will only work when flaps are down or sharing a switch etc. I hear that safe can be programed without using a channel these days? I also like the DX8E but I hear they have been discontinued? My next choice is the NX8+. thats a bit more money and the DX6E is on sale right now. Please help. Is the DX6E enough?

What wiring changes are required on the wing to fuselage connectors to allow for 2 aileron servos ((channels 2 & 6) and a y lead on the flaps on channel 5? This will allow for crow braking. No idea why E-Flite didn't configure the wiring this way in the first place.

Is reverse thrust possible with the DX6E?

DX9 doesn't have the "flap system" menu. I've tried by other means (?) but it remains befuggled . . . the slow speed only works when the flaps go "up" ? Remedy for DX9 please.

Do slat activate at the same time as the flaps do ??

Slats do not 'activate', they're fixed position on the wing. You don't have to install them. If you do install, you'll lose some high speed performance, and gain low speed performance.
