Great flight demo Michael. I have been liking the UMX planes a lot and I am up to 7 and now this looks like more fun than my Conscendo Evolution. I'm just glad they are easy to store.

I‘d guess they are the same fun, but for different reasons. E.g.: you will probably never get the little one scream on a dive if not under full throttle. Velocity will drop too quickly due to the light weight. And: you can fly the big one in crazy wind conditions still. Weight helps, sometimes 😂.

@@JMTerry1984 There are many and I can’t really tell which one is best. I love the Voodoo, as it is ridiculously fast and quiet at the same time, but got no lights - super hard to see in twilight or beyond. If there might be a winner, it would probably be the TT Evo, due to its fantastic flight characteristics and awesome lights. You can fly it in complete darkness, also inverted and aerobatics style without loosing orientation (most of the times 😆). I also like the looks with these big, almost cartoony bush plane wheels. You can ‘walk the dog’ in a touch and go maneuver at full throttle and also one wheelers - just amazing. Similar is true for the air tractor. Super capable, great lighting as well, but smaller tires - you don’t want to touch down on grass (works on TT on well manicured grass). I’d say, the Conscendo and Vodoo (or Detroit Miss now) are the fastest, TT Evo an Air tractor (probably) most versatile.

It’s crazy how nice the UMX Conscendo flies. Definitely one of the best flying UMX planes… although I still really enjoy flying the UMX Air Tractor.

😂😂😂 Everytime I see such a flying performance that close to the ground, I wonder how one single lifetime can be enough to gain such skills - at least, without being a millionaire to get beyond the crash and learn experience. 😅 Another outstanding MC presentation of a new UMX pearl! It isn’t only the insane ups of this little Conscendo - you were also giving it full throttle pretty much all of the time and it wasn’t beeping on you, begging for mercy!!! These little Spektrum 3S 300’s are excellent batteries, but if you cook them all of the flight, they are usually sagging rather quickly - at least to my experience. I wonder if the Conscendo is more efficient for whatever reasons. I was really looking forward to this video and got to state again: You never disappoint, Mike! Almost always tempting fate and always survive - fantastic job! 😊 👍🏻

Thanks Alexander! I was pushing the little Conscendo pretty hard but it is up to the task. It feels very solid and locked in while in flight which gives me the confidence down low.

Thank you! Yes I highly recommend the NX7e. Even though I have more expensive transmitters I almost exclusively use the NX7e.

Great video as usual. Two questions. First question. What is that Green stuff you're flying over. I've seen others fly over it on Your Tube videos. But here in the Rotten Nevada Desert, all we have is Dirt, Jagged Rocks and Cactus. Must be nice. Second question. Did you program in the Flaperons, and if so, how do you like em. Got mine in the box still. Waiting on batteries to arrive.

I didn’t not program in the flaperons and have only flown it in the stock configuration. I’ve been very happy with it so I haven’t taken the time yet. As far as the grass is concerned it was very unusual for it not to be covered by a foot of snow that time of year. 🥶

@@michaelclinerc3211 After fallowing your channel for a long time now, I am convinced that it You taped a few Sticks to a Rock, and Zip tied some electronics to it, you can make that contraption not only Hover, but perform Loops, Rolls, Knife Edge and spot land at your feet. So I don't think you're going to need to worry about the Flaperons. Regular pilots, like myself need all the assistance that they can get. So I programmed em in and they really help me out with the landings. Thanks for being you buddy. Peace.

Thanks Matt!!! I appreciate your comments. Both are outstanding flying planes. But, having flown both the for a while now the Air Tractor has an ever so slight of an edge over the Conscendo mostly because of its ability to perform knife edge, flat spins and pop-tops.

I really don’t do any thermal gliding with it so I don’t know what the potential flight time would be. Aggressive power on flights as shown in the video are about 5 minutes.

Hi, I have a question, I purchased this model today but I noticed that in the package there is no adhesive velcro to attach the battery to the model (in addition to the belt which is already in the plane) I noticed that with the belt alone the battery moves, did you put self-adhesive velcro under the battery to secure it? I actually flipped the battery over so the velcro strap holds it in place.

I like it a lot. It's more than enough transmitter for any of the planes offered in the E-flite lineup, it has a nice feel in your hands and with well over over 200 flights on it I haven't noticed the white looking dirty. In my opinion it is worth getting.

@@grggi35 As of now there is no way to turn off, adjust gains or make any other changes to AS3X mode. It, of course, can be switched into SAFE mode but I’m guessing that’s not what you are looking to do.

Unpleasant perversion from people thinking upside down tricks are cool as thats the fuckup state nothing to do more than testing track-drive with F1 car reverse. Anyhow pleasant about its beauty on aeroperformance compared to rc planes generally in youtube. It looks just unrealistic monster for its category and might get someone chocked at replica plane -miniature builders scene about this "over powered glider" -show up and just imagining someone to explain at RC airfield : "Its just original drone, not miniature". Looks for very cool thing, great video Can you please confirm what it is: is this rather "race-track-plane with gliding abilities" than glider..... can i really hang with it up all-day without engine power next to sunny hill as gliders do or even 1/2 from that or just glide for landing?

In my opinion and experience the UMX is more of an aerobatic powered glider than a slope or thermal glider.
