Love the Viper 90 it’s my first EDF. 90% of my landings are bouncy. Only 12 flights on it. Ali Machinchy from Horizon set mine up. He used flight modes for the flap settings. That’s so much easier than flying it, landing and readjusting setting for flap elevator trims. Love the videos keep them coming.

Thanks for sharing! Yes BD Tennessee taught me flight modes but I am just starting to use them for flaps, this video was done before I learned how. And yes WAY easier!!!

Always good to do landing practice! Issues landing is the battery is way to far forward. I use a SMC 6s 6200 which is 16g lighter,and end of the battery is at the leading edge of the second strap.

@@FatGuyFliesRC also take out some "up" elevator trim for level flight and compensation with flaps if you have any added since nose will be lighter...

@@BDTennessee Well with this one was before I learned from you (thank you) flap to elevator flight modes. So 5000 or 6000 further back and less up elevator for landing flap?

I also have my throttle in the bind port on my Viper 90mm and the KM afterburner in CH1, it’s the only way I could get it working properly, great video btw 👍🏻

yeah not sure why it works but it does. FYI it must be done AFTER you have bound the plane.

Huh ? I’ve used binde ports in the past for throttle and worked great until my next flight with the model the EDF would lose its binde. That’s only if I hadn’t smashed it clean into a giant light pole , a tree or even I’ve tried to fit them through a chainlink fence ! 😂 I’m always questioning my set ups so I like you give out yours it’s settling knowing ! Sorry , it kinda sounded like I was talking about the 90mm viper ….NO … i still haven’t left the ground was the blue 70mm ! I installed crazy bright nav lights and left me a channel short so had to improvise 😂😂😂
