They're really cementing themselves as one of the more underrated groups in kpop if you ask me. Bringing a blend of 2nd and 4th gen style with an artistic flair rarely scene in this space. I'm a fan!

Their label is really small. They are the first group of E entertainment. Their sound is always super unique, and beautiful.

E Entertainment are a pretty small company. E'LAST is the company's first music group, having opened auditions for trainees and actors for the first time in April 2019. As far as Swear goes, the one you thought might be Wonhyuk with the blond hair was actually Choi In; Wonhyuk had the blue hair and didn't rap at all in Swear :) And I picked the God's Menu cover because I knew you love Stray Kids a lot, and it's one of the many covers E'LAST has done that I go back to all the time lmao I think based on the size of their practice room, which you can't get a good gauge on in the dance practice (in fact it looks LARGER than it actually is because of how they filmed it, like the lens or aperture or whatever), they had to film it that far back so you could see everything properly. I'm still deciding on what I should maybe request next month, but if I do more E'LAST, there are two relay dance vids they did where they do some other covers that you might like :) Also the subunit E'LAST U had their debut earlier this morning with "The Beginning of Spring", if that's something you're interested in checking out.

the rapper with the low voice is Wonjun, unfortunately he wasn't in their "Tears Of Chaos/Dangerous" comeback also he's the one singing at 2:41, his versatility is insane

This upload is perfectly timed! Their subunit E'last U just debuted today with their single "The Beginning of Spring"! :o Yes, I love the theatricality of it, it's mentioned in descriptions that the song "opens like a musical", and it truly does feel like an opening number to a musical, introducing us to the grand theatrics ;o They're my personal favourite debut from 2020 :D I'd like to mention a 2nd-gen group that the song's sound reminded me of. They're known as Boyfriend, the first male group under Starship (home to Sistar, Monsta X, Cosmic Girls, and Cravity). Some of their earlier songs ("Don't Touch My Girl", "Janus", "I Yah") have that kind of theatrical feel and used a lot of orchestral instruments for the accompaniment. Of course, these were like back in 2012, so the instruments didn't really stand out. But hearing "Swear" (Korean title: "A Knight's Oath"), it sounded like what that orchestral sound could be upgraded to, because here the instruments just sound so much more real. :') Also, uh, you wouldn't know any other groups from E Entertainment, because E'last is their first group XD Members: 2:22 Yejun, vocalist, the maknae, he's known for his curly hair (the members call him a poodle) and his endless appetite lol (he had orange hair in ToC) 2:35 Romin, vocalist and dancer, he's got a unique, sharp look to him and likes leopard print fashion (he had the blonde streak in his hair in ToC) 2:41 Wonjun, vocalist and rapper, he looks cute but has a deep voice and wants to be known for his sexiness too lol (he was absent from ToC) 2:51 Baekgyeul, vocalist, he's apparently a huge Star Wars fan and has some model replicas in their dorm XD (he had the rings in his hair in ToC) 3:06 Choi In, the oldest and main dancer, he acts like the mom of the group and has a huge smile (he was the one who got lifted into the air in ToC) 3:12 Wonhyuk, the all-rounder, he's the one with the blue hair here XD 3:50 Seungyeop, vocalist, I think he was training to be a musical actor or something (he's the one who starts the song in ToC) 4:08 Rano, the leader, rapper and dancer (he's the non-Wonhyuk rapper in ToC XD)

3:04 that's actually not Wonhyuk lol that's Choi In, their oldest member but remembering names is really tough in the beginning and Wonhyuk had the very different blue hair for Swear so it's definitely understandable he IS the blonde one taking all of Han's parts as you identified in the God's Menu cover though :)

Swear was very much and still is an underrated debut :( It definitely hooked me right away personally, because i love the dramatic and orchestral elements. There's a Japanese singer named Hitomi Shimatani who did that kind of "crossover" orchestral/dance pop music for a while and I've always loved her music from that era and wished it was something more artists would explore.

I think I might die tomorrow to be honest. New releases from PIXY, TO1, BLING BLING, GWSN, and Heize. On top of that I have my final day of high school in the morning. Then a 6 hour work shift in the evening. And on top of all that it’s Penguins vs Islanders game 3 why are all these comebacks happening during the beginning of NHL playoffs and the end of the school year someone please help I need sleep.
