I am Indian. As a millennial generation of India, we never saw any revolution or war of that sort. We are a peaceful nation. But one thing I must confess, whenever I feel low in energy or feel demotivated , I always listen to ur song Kelmti Horra. I dont understand Arabic, but the song give me energy. I first listened "Kelmti Horra" 2 years ego while watching a documentary regarding Arab spring.

I had the same experience when I heard her first songs. I don't speak Arabic either but the music touched my soul. Art doesn't always need a clear language as long as it strikes a chord in you. I randomly put up a post to my friends while I was in community college asking for music to help me study. A friend I was in the military with told me to listen to Emel because it's beautiful, calming and I won't get distracted by the lyrics unless I researched translation. Needless to say, she helped get me through my time in school. I thank God for this woman and all who have been with her through her journey. Much respect from New York City.

Emel should do more subtle dancing herself in her video clips to express more emotions. Her body has a singular shape; muscular, a nice combination between a woman's body and a child's body. It can serve pure artistic goals without rising side "quiproquos".
