Last week my Photon managed to wrap my inner tube around my gear cassette, I have seen more than 1500W of power!😮 I think you need a knobbly tire front and back for that trail.

Maybe you use a 48 or 52V battery, as PHOTON's maximum power output seems to be set to 1200W when used with 36V battery. I definitely need more blockier tyres yes. Now I have realised why there are e-MTB specific tyres out there. We need robust and beefy tyres to get the most out of PHOTON's power. Thanks for watching!

@@MindDesignFactoryYes I use a 48V 20Ah battery mounted on a horizontal rack over the back wheel, fixed to the seat tube. It means I can keep the power wiring short and low-resistance. My old Marin full-suspension MTB carries the weight very well over rough tracks and in de-restricted mode I can reach 50kph if I am brave enough! I think my maximum range on roads could be over 100km if I pedal all the time and keep the assistance at a low level. It might go even further but I don't like to take the battery much below 40% charge, to extend battery life. Good luck and happy riding with your PHOTON!

48V 20Ah is a huge battery.😲 A well power/range balanced battery, I think. Thank you for valuable info of your own PHOTON setup!
