E-petitions relating to Nigeria and the sanctions regime - 23rd November 2020

The Committee has scheduled a debate in Westminster Hall on the motion “That this House has considered e-petition 554150, relating to Nigeria and the sanctions regime”.
Theresa Villiers MP, a member of the Petitions Committee, will be opening the debate. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office will be sending a Minister to respond.
What are petitions debates?
Petitions debates are ‘general’ debates which allow MPs from all parties to discuss the important issues raised by one or more petitions, and put their concerns to Government Ministers.
