E.S.P : Dub Techno EP w/ Digitakt & Digitone

Here's a little performance of my new EP out on november 3rd through Petite Victory Collective. Back to a simple flow, improvising with patterns, free of structure where I can play any sound at any time. Yes, it's the open door to a lot of mistakes, but I feel so satisfy to play like this.
All the sounds have been designed from the same sounds and samples with different settings. It was a test but I found that it gave an extra cohesion between the tracks.
Another test here is I tried to do a bit of mastering, so you won't have the raw sounds of the machines as usual.

Merci beaucoup !🙏 c'est plus simple que ça en a l'air, je t'assure 😊 ce genre de config se résume à 1 drum machine 1 synth. Les ryhtmes + bass éventuellement d'un côté, les synth de l'autre, et il n'y a plus qu'à jouer et mixer chaque son comme bon te semble 😊

@@krostifmusic Et ce que je ne comprends pas aussi c’est que ok tu charges tes samples, mais tu n’as pas de faders pour les faire rentrer progressivement ? Et si je veux mettre des delays ou autres effets sur un sample en particulier, comment ça se passe ?

@@MorganPlay ici pas de faders, mais tu as la solution page mixer, ou chaque piste est assigné à un potar. Si tu veux des faders, regarde chez roland (tr8s/707) ou sinon un controller genre midimix pas cher fait le taf.. Pour les delay et effets en général, tu peux doser ce que tu envoies par piste, mais la plupart du temps, c'est réglage par pattern (time, feedback, etc..)

Thanks a lot !🙏 It's hard to say for someone else but for myself yes. All gear I buy is a keeper because : 1. I set a maximum price depending on my budget, 2. I look for functionalities and specs, 3. I watch ton of vids and compare before buying. So I'm sure of what I buy :) one thing you must be aware for Digitakt is it plays and record mono samples. You get stereo with effects and panning while using them. If you want stereo samples, choose something else. Digitone is powerful. Fm synthesis is not the easiest to learn, but also full of happy accidents :) that said, both require an important learning curve, even more if it's your first experience. Hope this helps 😅
