Hi John, hope you and your family are doing well. A lift helps a lot. Getting to old to do to much crawling around on the ground. I just couldn't myself to just fasten the track to the wood, it would eventually work loose or pull out. Thanks for watching and commenting my friend 🤝

I did mine but used 1/8 inch by inch in a half aluminum for a backing plate. Used 2 1/2 inch bolts with washer and locking washer. More then strong enough.

Good job! Looks to be very secure now. About to install some e-tracks on my trailer for an atv myself. What size and length bolts did you use? Probably going to put a single bolt into the frame where the e-track crosses each cross frame. Hopefully it will hold

I used 5/16 bolts and I believe the length is around 2 1/2 inches long. The lag bolts if I remember right are 1 1/4 long by 5/16. Good luck. Thanks for watching and commenting 🤝

You never use wood to support your vehicle in the first place as it was smart to use the frame. As soon as you make a corner the wood would pop up and your UTV will be sitting in the road.

I bought the piece that wouldn't fit very good from a farm supply here in Arkansas, at a place called Atwood's. It was actually Erickson, but it was to shallow to work very good. I will look tomorrow and get you the brand name of the better stuff. I bought most of the accessories off of eBay. Thanks for watching and I'll leave a comment here tommorow

Can you show it completed and all strapped down? Did the utv squash the track any? Any problems sliding off it when wet or muddy?

Hi Nolen. It want smash the track. With the straps tightened it won't slide around, unless your tire starts going flat. Mud sometimes gets built up in the slots, but a carwash takes care of that. Just spray it out the mud. Thanks for watching and commenting 🤝
