The video footage is just as beautiful as the immaculate restoration. I saw my first E Type Jaguar in June of 1962 in Duluth, Minnesota in the USA. Only one other time in my 68 years, can I recall a vehicle so captivating that the moment was forever etched into my brain. Thank you for your splendid efforts to keep these wonderful Jaguars on the road for the public to enjoy.

E-types should NOT be painted a metallic color! Except silver. With a red interior. :)

Mud flaps on the rear fender wells was a good idea! That gravel would've chewed up that rear fender in no time. Thought he opener her up on that gravel driveway before hitting the road but after a second look it was only the video sped up. Smart...

I have 2 1962 XKEs, one OTS and one coupe. . .sometimes I look at the coupe and say it is the most beautiful and sometimes I look at the OTS and think the same. It's like dating two gorgeous women. Nice problem to have.

For all those people who insist on "original" or "as it left the factory", I submit this instead. Why anyone would prefer scratches in the paint, weatherstripping cement leaking out past the torn factory weatherstripping, shabby leather interior bits, scratched glass, rusty metal and all that other stuff people call PATINA these days is beyond me. If you're going to own and drive a car as beautiful as this, why wouldn't you want it as nice as possible? These guys did a fantastic job in restoring this Jag to better than factory. It's a car for heaven's sake. It's meant to be driven. Sure, it's a piece of history but if you're lucky enough to own something like this and to get to drive it anytime you want, it doesn't make sense to cruise around in a car that simply looks old, tired and beaten. Get over ORIGINAL. It's a stupid idea and it really only means the instant it left the factory. Once it gets scratched, dented or shows signs of use in any way at all, it really isn't original anymore. Is it? It's used. Cudos to the folks who restored this beautiful machine. Great job. Enjoy driving this wonderful car for a long, long time.

Great craftmanship! May I ask how much you charge for such a paintjob? Assuming you get a relativly straigh metal chassy that needs no welding.

Is this the car that Is now wearing the registration XKE 420 C? Is there a reason why the front number plate mounting holes have been left, it indicates that this is an import. Sorry! I spoke with the owner at Killerton and l know how much it cost to paint. It looked very nice indeed. I did point out that you could see that the opening panels had been left on during the paint process to ensure the pattern stayed true . The owner said they had not! So, maybe this is not the car l saw.
