@@mitchinatr7093 well it probably wouldn't be that hard to fix, it's less of a bug and more just a thing that needs tweaking. Basically the text object allocation fix he did for GH3, but much quicker since there's no reverse-engineering involved. Not really worth it to make a 10 second video of just changing a number to a higher one, if that's how the note object limit works.

Fun fact: that "towel" trick has some roots back to beatmania IIDX, where players would use a similar trick (covering most of the screen with a towel) until the Sudden+ modifier (adjustable lane cover) was introduced in a later version (I think it was Happy Sky or DistorteD). Sidenote, if you're into Guitar Hero and haven't heard of IIDX, it's worth at least checking out gameplay footage for. It's probably one of the oldest and longest-running rhythm games alongside DDR.
