SOFI at the orchestra concert was the first time they revealed the song. It was a new song and at this concert was the first time anyone was hearing it. Taka has a bit of a bad track record when it comes to singing new songs because he often forgets some of the lyrics lol. I don't know if you noticed but at the very beginning, the camera pans out and you can see Taka looking at Toru and then it goes to a shot of Toru and he's kinda laughing. That's because Taka actually messed up at the very beginning of the song there🤣 There's two things Taka has a habit of doing whenever he messes up... He looks over at Toru, and he pretends something is something is wrong with his mic😂 He didn't do the latter here because the mic was on a stand, but if you ever want to see this, check out "Change" at Ambitions Japan Dome Tour😂 That was a pretty new song at the time too and the first time they were singing it live. As amazing of a vocalist as he is, he's known for forgetting lyrics and will be the first to admit that it's his weakness lol. He says he can't get into acting because he can't even remember his own lyrics🤣 Obviously it's not like he always forgets lyrics, but it happens more often than you'd think, and as fans we just smile at the reminder that he's human like us lol. I'm so glad you mentioned the other band members' backing vocals. They really do an amazing job and they especially stand out (no pun in intended) in this track. Yay, finally Tomoya's Drum ver. of "Taking Off"! I'm sure I've recommended this one to you guys every time you've mentioned how much you like Tomoya lol. I wish they would release more videos like this because it's such a unique perspective and Tomoya is so entertaining to watch. The man really loves what he does. You should check out his KZbin channel TOMOYA STUDIO where he drums to OOR songs in one video and then in another explains his techniques and the the things to pay attention to. He's such a fun, happy guy to watch even if you don't know what he's saying (the way he talks is really fun too, and he laughs a lot), but if you can understand him, he gives a lot of in depth details on his drumming. Btw, Tomoya gave away this red and black drum kit several years ago. He had a giveaway on Instagram where people needed to record videos of themselves drumming and he went through all of them to pick a winner. The kit ended up going to a high schooler who often played drum covers of OOR songs. Tomoya went to their house and personally delivered the prize. The kid used the kit at school performances and recorded some new cover videos using his new drum set. Tomoya's drum kits are always really cool. He currently uses a transparent set which he got to show off in concert for the first time earlier this year. Before you guys go to the Toronto concert, you should check out the band's documentary movie on Netflix called Flip a Coin. I think you'll learn a lot about the band as individuals in addition to their work ethic and attention to detail when putting together a concert.

I love these videos of yours, such a treat to hear your thoughts on ONE OK ROCK! I suggest checking out more from the Luxury Disease Tour: Your Tears Are Mine Vandalize Gravity So Far Gone Especially since you (Richard) have bought the album. They add SO much live. So Far Gone has a guitar solo that doesn’t exist in the recording. Taka’s vocals in Vandalize are amazing but so different from the recording. Gravity is a song that Taka said he never wants to perform live again because it was so difficult (hopefully he was kidding, but I’m interested to hear your take on why that might be!). Your Tears Are Mine is just epic Taka vocals all the way. They truly are a marvel live, this band ❤

I’m going to see them as well! I am so excited. I agree, every song is a masterpiece to me. They are each amazing musicians. Taka, I have no words for how much I love his voice, and his lyrics that he creates are so meaningful and positive messages to all. I may be 72, but I come from an era of the best rock music.

I love the band but I loved them more when they released this song. No to discrimination. Love yourself. There are people who will not like you because you're asian but you dont need to change just to be accepted by others. 🖤 The message is always so powerful 😭🖤 If you have time, please watch FLIP THE COIN before going to the concert. I think the setlist they will use in promonition tour gonna have both of old and new song. Normally they change setlist in every tour maybe every continents. That's why We can't know what song they will play in this tour But we can guess from the song they play during this period I think you could check from these - Kanzen kankaku Dreamer (At Yokohama stadium 2014) - Kimishidai ressha (LUXURY DISEASE TOUR 2023) - Wonder (LUXURY DISEASE TOUR 2023) - Answer is near (LUXURY DISEASE TOUR 2023) And new song! You have to see the version of Stand Out Fit In from the Luxury Disease tour. Taka's energy is on a whole other level. The one downside to the orchestra versions is that he can't be as energetic because it's so difficult to stay in time with the orchestra. Which may sound crazy since he has a lot of energy during that show. Another version of Taking off that shows clips from the 2016 Nagisaen concert, which has the most epic crowd. It's also their most energetic show.

I hope the crowd in Toronto is as respectful as the Japanese audience because there isn’t an audience as respectful as the Japanese. They are known for that whatever concert they go to they know when to shut up. Including BTS.
