TIL there exists black rice which also originates from India. Such programs should be shown in news channels so that people know the diversity of India.

I have found that Mr Pant hardly knows about South Indian food. Black rice has been grown in Tamilnadu for centuries. Considered medicinal and pricey!

Chakhao and the black rice grown in Tamil Nadu is different though. (Chakhao is more stickier and has more aroma)
