The New Lions need to learn how to win despite their QB... This coaching staff needs to teach Jared there is MORE VALUE in a sack or throwing the ball out of bounds or punting - than throwing it up... With the right Goldy Locks Scenario - Jared Goff can do like Trent Dilfer! But - the coaching staff needs to train Jared to take sacks and throw it out of bounds is better than a toss up for grabs. Jared is the best leader - has more intangibles - than any QB since Erik fricken Kramer had for the Lions ... But he was traded (a first overall pick) for two additional draft picks and a third round pick - FOR A REASON... He's not a QB that can win despite the team... He's a QB that NEEDS a Great TEAM and Perfect Coaching - WR who gets open and catches bas balls - THEN AND ONLY THEN can we win. This truly is a coaching issue ... Jared can't be improvising like he's 35 million dollar a year Baker Mayfield... He can't be improvising like he's Mathew Stafford or Kyler Murray... We get a better leader than ALL THREE OF THOSE QBS out of Jared but significantly lesser ability at the QB position ... It's so coaching - until Hooker is trained and ready - we have to figure out how to win in spite of Jared ...
