The bottom battery door on the Coors is really a pain to open, I remember struggling with it on my Ninja, which also basically uses the same chassis. You definitely got a nice deal on these cars, the Ultima looks great too.

Awsome deal!!! My favorite is the traxxas hawk. I've recently bought two of these. The first one I bought was so nice I didn't want to drive and sits on a shelf. The second one I actually paid more for and was not in very good shape but I wanted one I could drive. Great show!!

A& L steering with bearings or factory works

All are cool, but I'm just here for the Hi Rider ;) Regarding the Vette's tyres, they tend to hold up pretty well after 30 years, it's the Big Brute type that pretty much melt off their fragile wheels with age.

With some modifications, better driveshafts (plastic driveshafts is garbage, specially with that bronze bushing eating away at the plastic.) Motor too a bit faster modified one, ball bearings change too oil shocks that are a bit shorter & maybe hex wheels & tires all around that gives it a wider stance. (Its a bit top heavy & rolls over easily if im not mistaken.) As for the Traxxas it's up too the individual user really, probably fairly easy for him too make an chassis tray that attaches via a strip of velcro or finding a fitting one too prevent some scratching. 75 aud is easily worth that per car with the shape they were in, id say almost 120 - 150 each is closer too the real price if he had a working battery too throw in there & show them working on the spot really. Oh and also the kit for some reason uses steel bushings in some places, those are worth polishing up a bit. Oh yeah also remembered another thing i read in the past about these (local sort of fleamarket had a Kyosho hi-rider for sale which i didn't get too buy in time.) The steering is rather sloppy on them (did briefly drive that one bringing my own radio & a fitting crystal & a smaller 7.2v nimh pack for a 1:16th scale car.) if he sorts that out, ball bearings wherever he can, bit quicker motor & oil shocks id say it should handle the same as a black foot.
@tallguygaming4094 жыл бұрын
Yeah for the vette ill add bearings and prob leave the pogo sticks just to beat ari with crappy suspension haha. The traxxas im not sure what your sayn a chassis protector on bottom or in batt tray?

You ever thought of going after some vintage Nikkos? I personally think you should try it long and hard to find the ones that will complete hobby grade ones and one of the cars was called - and it was what's a four-wheel drive belt driven buggy.

Think about this you say it's so vintage and it is a price of history people all the time take very old vintage cars 1/1 they race them and they run them so there's no excuse to say it's a piece of history when I've seen actual cars were piece of history still being used today.
