I joined a dragon boat club when I retired at 66. I had gained 20lbs in just 6 weeks after retiring a fairly "busy" job. My job was not hard labor, but on my feet all day 8- 10 hours. I was never gym person, but I tried to stay somewhat fit. Though, I struggled with weight my whole life, once puberty struck. Anyway, though I continued to gain another 20 lbs😢, I know some of it was muscle growth as the months went on, practicing 3x per week on the dragon boat. Nearly 2 years now. I also walk briskly, and lift weights in between practice days. Another fellow paddler my age is tall and very thin. She joined shortly after I did. Her muscles are building and defining right before my eyes. Being lean, it is really very evident on her. Muscles can definitely grow and strengthen in your 60's.

I have heard that also which seems contradictory but he somewhat clarified by saying in a talk that if you time restrict your meals on your first meal breaking your fast make it protein loaded.

First you said it didn't matter when you ate and then said you need protein first thing in the morning. You contradicted yourself.
