Hey Neha, to be honest I solely referred to Jay’s videos and gave one mock test at a consultants office. I’d say follow Jay’s inputs and back yourself to do well and be confident. One recommendation - ensure you speak for the entire 2 mins on the speaking test and vary the vocabulary.

This is my first time watching this video of Jay and I am compelled to sign up for a full blown tutorials on IELTS academic which I plan writing sometimes late November. However, in the last one I did, my score were bad with L: 5.5, R: 5.0, W: 5.0 and S: 7.0 without serious and consistent training but I knew after the exam in August 2019, that my listening and reading will not come out good due to lost of concentration at the 23 question in listening and slowness in take-off in reading spending more time at the first passage and later picked up later which afforded me to 20-25 questions.Now, I'm more confident going through the E2langauge package and improve my score to 8+ band. These are very good tips . I secured 8 in academic writing in 1999 without any training. English is not my first language . In addition to these tips you should be very good in vocabulary. Essay was on Star War in writing .My first sentence was - The demise of USSR hatched out Pax- Americana .your first sentence should be very attractive.

Reet Dhaliwal Hi. I started watching the writing videos 4 days before my test and paid attention to the tips given by Jay. Just make sure you approach the questions exactly as Jay recommends. Apart from this, listening and reading is pretty simple, just make sure to read the questions carefully. Speaking requires flow. Be as detailed as you can be. The person who assessed me had to stop me a few times as I kept talking. It is however important to answer the question at the same time. Don’t wander away from the core question. Hope this helps.

Navdeep Kaur Hi Navdeep, as mentioned in my comment, I just watched the videos and made notes of the tips he gave. Then I just did a few practice questions from a book following that approach. All you need to do is to make sure is to apply these tips in the test and you should get the desired score like I did.

Honestly, this is the BEST 30 odd minutes I've spent so far on KZbin, in search of precise and distinct info on IELTS writing module. Your all videos are realistic, easy to understand, right on problems and difficulties which a IELTS student face and your way of convincing and passing your massage is really vital.
