Online study is becoming popular among students. It is benefical because it saves their travel time. Traveling can waste a lot of time which can be used elsewhere. Each day students have to wakeup one or two hours early than the actual time to catch the bus or train if the university or college is far from their place. Distant learning programs were started for foreign students but now locals are also attracted towards it. Because of the time saving through online courses people are opting them more.

I took ielts exams 2 years ago and got 6.5 in writing and abruptly I needed to take another one on the 14th of December. I registered for the exams 8 days to the exams date with zero preparation prior. But I was just listening to your videos over and over while doing a full time job. I didn't even practice writing that much but I got my results and I scored 7.5 in writing and 7.5 overall. Thank you so much for the great resources online
@aer94984 жыл бұрын
Those are very good news actually. I achieved 6 on writing (and 7.5 on other parts) in my first attempt and I am repeating the test to get a 7 on writing because that is what I was requested :( I have seen examples of 7 marked essays which are not very skillful but reflect a good understanding of the test requirements and make the text flow, instead of developing more difficult ideas. That is the approach I am taking for the next one. Simplicity is the key. If it makes some meaningful points, the vocabulary is not poor and the overall structure is the one they would expect, I do not see how I would not get a 7. I hope I do hahaha

There are a couple of disadvantages associated with online learning. First of all, online learning isolates students. For example, an individual who studies on-campus is more confident and has better social skills than a person who stayed at home. Moreover, this also minimizes networking opportunities as an individual who is not present on campus may not get the chance to exchange ideas with a potential investor or a recruiter. Secondly, online learning makes it difficult to collaborate with others. Individuals from different timezone working together in a team will find it hard to set meetings and complete a project. Therefore, online learning limits social interactions and teamwork.

Studying IELTS with Jay and Alex, which is extremely interesting and engrossing, can not only boost your score in the exam but also can make you more educated and productive in general. In fact, all explained topics have become easier for me and, presumably, for my peers. Even though the writing part seems intimidating at the beginning, it is likely to turn into pleasure later and you will realise that actually, you enjoy doing it. As an example, last week I struggled to write one essay per day, now I am writing from 2 to 3 with joy, so my productivity has increased from 50% to 75% and I feel more confident. Thus, I cannot be grateful enough for all your amazing work.

The ease of studying from anywhere, makes it easy for students to study from place of most comfort, which helps them avoid the hassle and stress of traveling to their respective schools, which intern leads to better focus. The Learning online also means that, they can study from the best teachers, which is crucial for creating interest in students about the subject. For instance, if a teacher has poor teaching skills, then students starts loosing their interest from the subject, which is detrimental for their learning. In short, studying in an comfortable environment and creating interest about subject, makes for effective learning.

Hello Jay, your videos are of great help! I’m trying to apply your instructions and structure. But for those questions: 1-As most people spend a major part of their adult life at work job satisfaction is an important element of individual wellbeing. What factors contribute to job satisfaction? How realistic is the expectation of job satisfaction for all workers? 2-In many countries children are engaged in some kind of paid work. Some people Regards this complete wrong, while others consider this as a valuable work experience. What are your opinions on this? 3- Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology. In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships people make? Has this became a positive or negative development? They are double questions and according to your explanation I should apply the single idea paragraphs, but factor(s), opinion(s) and way(s) shouldn’t I include at least 2 ideas? Many thanks in advance.

Studying online is much more accessible then attending campus. Students do not use pen and paper to understand the logic these days, rather they would google the lectures in order to gain a better understanding of the topic. They can access the study curriculum anytime whenever they want to. For example, while online courses have no time limit, students can choose the topic according to them. In a nutshell, online learning is a better option than classroom learning since it gives an independent learning opportunity. It helps to bridge the learning curve with a greater amount of time with no boundation.

She plans to take IELTS again and hopefully she will do better and replicate her performance in writing following your strategy. Thank you so much.

Learning online convient and less expensive . By learning online they have chance to save money as well as people don't need visit university for study. For instance ,it is usually seen that these days 80 percent students do online study.

Working on data analytics problems online is easier because of nature of problems, being able to use coding platforms simultaneously and able to copy paste questions into the discussion board for example- when i was working on data science coding problems- i was loking to gather feedback on my material- but for me to communicate it my TA via email was difficult , and in person session required me to carry my computer and all the print outs of the code and out put back to him This not only increased the time to gather feedback , but also made the process more time consuming .Having online courses with discussion forums and help sections not only supplements the analysis process but also makes it a pleasure to study ! I have been looking forward to my lectures and class notes since i registered online for my class.

It’s argued by some that online studies are far better than old-fashioned classroom lessons and that is due to the fact of better concentration. For instance, if the class was recorded by video, students can watch it more than once and in a quiet pleasant environment chosen by them. This way the effectiveness of learning through the internet is bigger if compared to others.
@ilajayswal96397 жыл бұрын
studying online is more feasible and affordable than studying at university campus. Especially for people who are currently engaged with some job or occupation wants to go for further study to enhance their career, have little time to attend lectures. Besides students from some isolated and remote places find it difficult to commute to school or college due to poor transportation and long distance. Nowadays people earn more than one degree or diploma and also study subjects of wide variety, so for them it is more convinient.

Studying online offers students the ability to have more control over their time management. While some people are able to wake up early and find it easier to concentrate in the mornings, others may find it more effective to study at night. This may be especially true for part-time students that work and study. For example, if they have night-shift duties they may return home late at night or early mornings and therefore find it difficult to study after only a few hours of sleep. The ability to choose their hours of study will allow them to focus more, concentrate more effectively on their academic tasks and perform better overall. However, online study may lead to some students falling behind in classes. This issue would arise if they are finding difficulty in understanding an area of course material. With computer-based learning there is no teacher available to address concerns and answer questions. The student would either have to do further research online or email their respective teachers and wait hours, possibly days, for a reply. This would make their study more time-consuming and less efficient and some students may fall behind.

There are many benefits associated with studying online rather than studying on campus. It gives authority to students to study according to their convenience. This is more useful for working professionals. For example, Some student who can’t go to universities or colleges regularly due to their work can study anytime due to online classes. According to me online studies gives more relief and flexibility than studying at on campus.

Some students found that studying online is far more convenient than the conventional way of attending class in campus. With a simple touch or tap by their fingertips, they are now able to access various courses with ease. Students are also able to discuss study related stuff with their friends without having to go out of their way to meet in person. For example, most of the students today have their own online group conversation with the sole purpose of discussing and exchanging academic materials. In short, they have more time to focus on their study without having to go through hassle of going to campus.

Hi! I have a doubt about the number of paragraphs for the Essay in the computer form, I mean, I thought there should be from 4 to 5 paragraphs, but now some say there should be maximum 3 paragraphs if I take the computer form, How did you do it? :(
@monarodriguez17723 жыл бұрын
@@adriana9774 I recall having 5 paragraphs for my exam. I don't know if IELTS changed their rules for the writing task. As far as I know, it's the word count that matters and actually answering the question in the task that holds more weight in the exam. And for the word count, it asks for 250 words, I had around 350++ 😂😂😂
