Who’s low on McLaughlin? 7th round pick, homegrown Flyers fan that grew up 30 miles outside of Philly. Low expectations sure but I loved this pick.

Love Tortorella! He's brutally honest, upfront, and doesn't hold back. Sometimes you need to call the team out. This has been a losing organization for quite some time now and it's refreshing to have a passionate coach behind the bench. Torts! Torts! Torts!

I follow prospects closely. Two players jumped out this year in Bumper (Oliver) Bonk and Denver Barkey. If Barkey adds some size and remains dynamic..watch out. Bonk is an interesting watch because you do wonder what happens with his game if he is not playing bumper position on PP. Goalies are a fun watch as 18 year old Russian Zavragin put on a SV% clinic this year. But its hard to measure that in MHL & VHL. He is one of my top watches for next year. Bjarnason played solid and again young at 19. Big potential but far from a lock. Three under the radar players I watch because they are progressing is Carter Sotheran, Alex Bump and Owen McLaughlin. Massimo Rizzo is a big unknown in terms of signability. Not much of scorer but was an assist machine. Michkov of course is crazy good already even with dealing with all kinds of illness. I still think this is a very average prospect pool and Briere needs to be super active this summer to load up on either draft picks or other teams prospects.

Great work as usual! Hoping Steve can give his top Greek descent prospect for his next appearance;) I found out as a Philly transplant living in San Diego that the Israeli prospect and his brother skated out of the rink my kids go to-San Diego Ice Arena

Before the season started I said 94 plus points if healthy! And yes for a big chunk of the season the Flyers have been relatively healthy. But I wasn't counting on Hart being out for almost the entire 2nd of the season and trading away one of our better Defenseman! So all things considered I think we are right where I expected!

7 or 8 100 point teams in the Eastern Conference? No, that has happened once in the last 10-15 years. More like around five 100 point teams is typical. So this year the East should have 4 or possibly 5 teams with 100 points. Based on that measure the East is NOT terrible but pretty standard. Also the West will only have 4 or 5 100 point teams this year AND they have the three worst teams by a comfortable margin (Anaheim, Chicago, San Jose) in terms of point totals. So appreciate your comments but totally wrong trashing the East this year.

The east is garbage, but it’s mostly the metro that’s just bad now, there has been 2 times since 2018 with 8 100 point teams In the east, and take into account the two shortened seasons from Covid so he wasn’t far off and he was speaking from the top Of his head not starting at the standings board
