Sharon Shneyer, Southeastern PA, Rhonda in the heading was that referring to Perch (as in the fish??). My late mother used to buy frozen fish at the supermarket and one of the fishes she would get was perch. I really miss her cooking now especially since I can't cook. Please be as safe as you can, especially in this weather. It's getting a little cooler here (70's vs the 80's + we had last week)

Yep! We call the white perch a white sac a lait here. Other's call them crappie. I'm glad you have such a great memory of your mother!! That touches me. You stay safe too!!
