What kind of rear subframe and trailing arm bushings do u run? Recently broke my driveshaft looking to make some upgrades in hope of making my 328 a bit more bullet proof. Just looking for any advice on this rev shift guibo with my 6 puck clutch set up and a re-maned m3 shaft,

Subframe bushings are Condor Speed Shop, used to also run their trailing arm bushings, they're great. I run a full heim joint setup now wirh custom training arms so I have full adjustment. There's pics somewhere on my ig @frank_mopar

Hey man, I just installed a Valeo single mass clutch on my Z3. I installed the Turner clutch line with a new slave and the hose leaked so I put the BMW hose back in and no problems. The clutch is softer with the single mass conversion, though but I like it. Now my problem: I installed an aluminumand polyurethane guibo with the polyurethane transmission mounts and a polyurethane differential bushing. I finally got the car of the jack stands and have been driving it with what appears to a vibration hum and a clack when I shift and release the clutch. Should I go back to my rubber guibo from BMW? There are certain upgrades/modifications that give you headaches. It's a daily driver and not a track car. Please advise and thanks in advance.

Best setup for an oem+ feel is the stock guibo, poly engine mounts, and oem rubber trans mounts. Will give you a nice feel without adding a ton of noise and vibration. I run this setup on my daily driver e34

Thanks so much for you input. I removed the poly guibo and transmission mounts today and reinstalled the stock ones. Everything is back to normal now but I haven't checked the engine mounts so I will look into ordering those poly mounts for the engine because I don't want to be under the car in my 60s. Lol. do you torque the bolt to 75 foot lbs or do you torque the nut?

All the bolts go in from one direction (from the rear forward) so you have to hold the nut and tighten the bolt

What would be the downside to installing this on a easy going daily driver? I bought it but, haven’t installed it yet but now I’m second guessing. Is there any benefit to using it or will run into problems of other kinds?

Don't, especially if you're running oem mounts. You dont want this being the stiffest part of your driveline

what am I doing wrong I put a revshift on my e46 m3 solid diff and rear subframe bushings and replaced the CSB and broke the CSB again do you think my driveshaft is out of balance?

Did you preload the csb forward when installed? What brand? Generally speaking if you're killing csb's it's due to bad u joints

@@FLG13 Damn for reals I did do a preload not all the way just about 5mm from the center of the slot but I noticed when I cruise it's fine but when I floor it, you can feel the driveshaft feel like a wobble under the car. But I put like 30 miles and did like 2nd gear doughnuts lol and bam it felt like the CSB failed again. Driveshaft was clunking under the car so I cruised home going like 15mph.

The brand was like original brand of the OEM 45 bucks. I was just going to swap it out again and try with a full preload. The U-Joints looked solid though when I recently replaced the CSB.

I have this exact rev shift coupler and hate it!! vibration and bush noise alone is enough to drive you crazy but will handles a crap load of power! GREASE THEM POLY BUSHING B4 INSTALLING

So the red shift small E30 part is listed as 78 mm with 10 mm bolt. Is it measured directly across the 6 volt pattern as 78 mm or is it 78 mm from point to point on one of the drive flanges? I have a Mercedes and I just had one let go and destroy all kinds of s*** as you did and I would like to replace it with the red shift piece but nobody can tell me the measurement. Everybody just wants to tell me how s***** these things are after they throw them in a car without putting any thought into drivetrain alignment or anything else. but of course they're trash as soon as they put them in a car and it vibrates because they install them like f****** idiots.
