Many years ago my physics professor - university dude, experimentalist bought an E30 M3. First week after he got it he lowered the suspension himself. Sort of thing experimental physics professors take on in their own garage. Took a bunch of us to an air show.... and on the uneven grass parking lot beached the nose and popped out the bodywork around the front of the wheel arch. He spent about 10 minutes trying to pop it back in, but spotted how and asked if I could have a go and 10s later snapped it in place. His irate "how did you manage that, you're a THEORIST" still gladdens my little soul ! :)

Hi Robert....just wondering...Just check that squealing noise is actually the windscreen wipers....It may be the heaterbox gaskets...? Mine was making the same noise. The gaskets in the heater box shrink over time and let air through at high speeds which causes the squeal.....might be worth checking.....they're not expensive and still available. BMW needs to stop with the recycled plastic , terrible valve stem seals in the N63 on every update and a lot of other parts. Im on my 13th BMW and the current is the worst . Bring back the reliability of the E30,E34, and E39
