Great video! I thought it was Luke who coded the door lock/unlock chime? Nick is a cool dude too, he knows his stuff! Congrats again on coming back to the e39 M5 life!

Great video! Glad it performed as you expected it to. That little pull showcases one of the many talents that this car has. It can just mob down the highway for hours :)

Congrats on your car, you’ve got a great spec! It’s nice to share the same passion and yes I’m definitely going to be posting a ton of content on the M5.

You got to look at KZbin 2000 BMW E39 M5 Xenon headlight adjuster replacement. Just want you to take a look at these headlights just to look at them to see when they're all cleaned up.

Nice e39! Love the color combo. Can you help me understand something? Why do so many people like yourself buy cars like this, restore them to near perfection, sell them and then buy the same car again to do it all over again? I come across this so often and don’t understand it.

It’s part of being a car enthusiast. When we get a car to it’s full potential we think what else is out there? It’s always fun to try something new but sometimes it’s the wrong decision or it’s just circumstances like you need a more fuel efficient car or something to carry more people. It’s definitely possible to mis what we had not fully understanding how good it was. In the case of the e39 M5, I got mine in 2013 sold it to my brother in 2019 and bought it back two years later. It’s one of the best cars from one of the best auto manufacturers at the peak of there excellence. In other words it’s the ultimate driving machine.

@@ryanrobinson2401 thanks for the insight. I figured as much but it pains me to think of doing that myself. Ive had an 03 540i Msport for years and have spent a lot of time, effort, and money maintaining and upgrading it to perfection. I couldn’t imagine selling it and rolling the dice on another 20+ year e39. Makes sense for other people with different circumstances though.

Well for me personally, I sold my first one when I got my house and the Raptor. Plus I always wanted a different spec so now was the time to get it. I’m thinking that this one is here to stay. In general I also enjoy the process of setting a car up in my own way whether I plan to keep it a while or not. It’s part of the fun.

You probably got hit with LiDAR (laser) by the cop who pulled you over. Radar detectors don’t pick up LiDAR very well

I know people like the E39 M5, but man is it looking dated. Even something like the E36 M3 has a more modern look.
