I've purchased the standard AA Powerowl batteries and used them in my transmitters and have had great success. Good batteries, for a good price.

I am not a non-rechargeable fan but in certain applications they are great. These, for the price, are an awesome option.

NiMH batteries are the type I use in my LED candles. They do not hold a charge long enough to suit me. But in my flashlights I use lithium batteries - 26650 are larger and last longer in my flashlights, especially when the flashlight can hold 3 of them. However, some of the flashlights are designed for 18650 batteries, and I am using 21700 batteries in flashlights that will accommodate the longer battery.

I use those NiMh ones too for my candles. What brand? My Eneloops can sit for months with little loss.

Been using rechargeable batteries for a long time and I can't find many inconveniences about them. Use them properly and they'll serve you well for a long time. :)

I feel the same way. There was a time where the voltage difference was an issue but modern electronics are often times developed for these as an option.
