E46 328 Overtakes Ferrari & Survives Crash! Exciting trackday at Zandvoort | RSZ 16/09/2024

This time at Zandvoort I was following ‪@328ReasonsToLive‬ on track, and it ended up being quite a wild session! We overtook a lot of cars, including a Ferrari, but unfortunately I ended the session with a crash.
On the bright side, it wasn't serious and I kept driving on the next sessions, even managing to set a new PB (next video coming soon).

It looks like these rental cars with student drivers drive in every session type, i.e. Tour, Sport, Sport+. I think the best strategy is to be very careful around them. And also avoid Toer sessions.

That 130i was clearly out of the racing line, following a slow car that was giving way, then out of nowhere decided to overtake going back to the racing line without checking and going way slower than normal... It's sad that you now have to spend money to fix damages from someone else's mistake, but that's one of the dangers of our sport. Hope to see you back on track soon!

Getting better and better 🚀🚀 Other driver was wrong no questions about it, he closed on you when you were already half car in. Rentals should be forbidden in sport and sport+ sessions. Big mistake of instructor here, putting his customer and others at danger for a couple of bucks

Nice and clean driving, sad to hear about the crash at the end... How did you managed to get all those GPS telemetry in the video?

Thanks! It's part of the risk, luckily there was no serious damage. I record my sessions on Racechrono, then export the data to Racerender to get the overlays.
