Great video KS. Just FYI. Both interchanges with I-20 and I-285 are set to get makeovers and upgraded in the next few years. There's also going to be added 2 median express lanes one in each direction to both the east and west walls of 285, and 4 elevated 2 in each direction express lanes to the too end of 285. Along with express lanes and a BRT transit system added to GA-400 north into Forsyth County. Check the GDOT KZbin channel for visual presentations. 😉

I have seen those. Hopefully they do not take too long to complete.

I love that Atlanta has a highway called "The Perimeter" too. Just like Winnipeg 🙂 we also have a nearby place called "Stony Mountain" but it's not an amusement park... it's the name of the provincial penitentiary 😆

I guess "perimeter" is just not as popular as "beltway" or "loop." I like the mathematical term, though. I wonder if any city would consider "circumference." Thank you for watching! Also, on an unrelated note, I noticed in one of your videos (it might have been an older one) that you use Linux for part of your video creation process. I just recently switched over from Windows, and I really like it (the OS in general as well as the fact that DaVinci Resolve crashes much less than Vegas Pro). It's interesting to see another roadfilmer that uses (or used to use) Linux. Thanks for your comment, and I hope to see some more great content from you.

@@InterstateKS I only use Linux for creating my signs using a graphics program called "The Gimp". I still prefer using my Linux machine for that part of the process; it's much faster. The actual video is editing on my Mac using Final Cut Pro X :-)

I personally use Inkscape and a template I found and modified for my signage. I can see why you'd want to use FCPX for video editing, though. From what I hear, it and Logic Pro X are very powerful tools for editing if you're not in Hollywood using Avid's stuff or inside the Adobe ecosystem.

I use GIMP to make my thumbnails and edit raster images, as it is a very good tool for doing so.

Is there an actual mountain or hill called Stony Mountain near Winnipeg?

Was it just me or did that first song contain remnants from the original "Doctor Who" Theme song? Love 💘 the Video by the way!

I'm not sure if Muse used anything from Doctor Who. I do know that that album is based off the book Nineteen Eighty Four though.
