We're enjoying your ride, Kenneth. Thanks for letting us into your life. Here in the western U.S. it may appear we don't want someone camping on our land as we are very protective of it. Too many times, closed gates have been left open, open gates were closed, drunken parties have left litter all over, some have left camp fires smoldering and start forest/prairie fires, etc. However, if you stop at any ranch house and inquire about camping, the owners will welcome you with open arms and even tell you the best spot. Not all campers are as good as you are about leaving your spot as pristine as you found it. Thank you, Kenneth.

I understand those things can be an issue, but I do think there are better ways to deal with it than banning people from nature. Like teaching these things in school for example. In Norway we learn how to respect nature in school. Idiots will always exist, but they should not make it difficult for the rest. If I see people I will ask, but usually there is no people around for miles, and Im not riding around for hours looking for a person to ask... Then its better to ask for forgiveness than permission 😅

Great camp spot. Doesn't get much better. Seville is a favourite of ours. To be fair we found great coffee. I'm sure the place was called El Hombre, or similar. Don't think you'd be too disappointed. We love the Tapas scene, it's fabulous food, and the way everyone dresses up and goes out on a Saturday night. Happy travels 👍

Great video thank you very well done. People here in the states have ruined camping on private land .never fear we have a lot state park's are free and a lot of them .thanks again cheers to ya. Tell mom hi.
@RidetheBean2 жыл бұрын
yeah that is crazy to me... State parks are silly in my view. Great that they exist of course, but in my experience traveling in America I could enjoy most of them because I had to pay to be there and in many places had to be assigned lots to put up my tent... I don't really care if it is private or not. if I can hide and I leave no trace it is ok to camp 😛

@@RidetheBean I camp in state parks on the west coast. The fees to camp keep the place running. I have noticed since the fees have been raised, there are less a-holes camping in the parks. Since the pandemic, people rushed out and got rvs and the parks got crowded. I'm waiting for the novelty to (hopefully) wear off so I can camp in the beautiful state parks of the west coast of the US amongst only a few other campers.

Peace to you Kenneth!! Curious when you were at University in Spain what language did you learn in? Stay warm and safe 🙏

I learned in English mostly. But also Spanish. But didn't understand much of that 😅 I speak a bit of Spanish, but academic Spanish is a different language entirely 😂

"why are people so protective of their properties......why do you care if somebody camps on your property.."......Are you from a different planet or was the sun in Spain/Portugal just too strong for your head? :-)) It's like as if somebody just wanted to take your Yamaha T7 without your authorization and go for a ride and then return it back to your parking spot, and you would be OK with it? I guess that wouldn't fly with you..:-) but if it's somebody else's property that the person paid to own, somehow they should suddently allow you and others to use it?
@RidetheBean2 жыл бұрын
Well... I wouldn't say those are even remotely comparable but ok... 😅 A bike and nature is not the same thing. I don't think one should be able to own nature and not let people use it. Just because some people are idiots doesn't mean the rest should be banned from using it. There are other ways to deal with those who don't respect it.
@ralphderkapitaen98752 жыл бұрын
@@RidetheBean so you mean people shouldn't be allowed to purchase and own land/property without letting the public use that private property? that's nuts..🙂
@RidetheBean2 жыл бұрын
hes shen the land contains large nature areas I do think so. Companies or private people should not be allowed to destroy or block off nature unless it is for conservation. Nature is for all creatures. Both human and non human. The concept of owning nature I think is ridiculous.
@ralphderkapitaen98752 жыл бұрын
@@RidetheBean well in certain areas yes, i do see the point. That's why there are national and state parks, public land, public beaches and other areas where no private ownership is allowed. Originally, in your video, it sounded like you were not OK with anybody having a fence and thus not allowing you to camp on their land etc.....Those areas in your video didnt look like some area where national park would need to be established...so I was just surprised that you didnt see the point of why the owners had their right to fence it off to protect their private land. Now, in areas with national treasure...lakes, forest, mountains, beaches etc, some very special areas, yes absolutely. There is a need to preserve it without private ownership. I think most countries balance that ratio (public vs private land) halfway OK. But not everything is perfect, of course.
