Stayed at that campsite some years back with my 2 kids. Great place until the middle class campers turned up with the kids Rory, Charlie and isabell,.... Totally tore the place up and spoiled an otherwise lovely site. Hadn't thought of staying there on the bike tbh. Thees another wild camp site called the Brickyard which is worth a go.

Enjoyed watching the kit looks great. The TET is a fabulous thing and I'm sure you'll love it I know I do. Must do some of them ride by shots myself, easy to do when by yourself my mates hate me even stopping to take pictures 😂. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻

Just found your channel and love it. I've recently picked up a wr450f to ride some trails and your channel provides lots of useful information. My first question is about your screen, is it something that can be bought or did you make it yourself?

Thanks for the comments . It’s an Adventure spec mini fairing, they do some specific to bike and a general fit one. I make the clear screen myself, just a bit of Perspex I heat and shape , just give a bit more protection on the road. I race with it there and it’s no bother

Hi. Considering the 450l for UK TET. Have you done much to it? ECU etc? Or mostly stock? (I’ve had a Fantic 500, Tenere 700, crf300L and a few other bikes so far. And done all of TET Devon and Cornwall… want to go up to wales next year.)

Day and night difference, the T7 is way more fun on the road but that's it, unless you want a challenge, so lots of my local lanes are a bit easy on the CRF. If i could only have one bike it would be the 450L, it really is a unicorn bike, probably one of the best on the road, better than pretty much anything other than a 701/690, in a dual sport/enduro style, but the 450L is 20kg lighter than the 690/701, and far far more capable off road, over 50mm more travel on the suspension, and based on a championship winning MX bike. You have to fit an aftermarket ECU, most go for the vortex, that takes you up to about 45hp, sorts out all the low speed/throttle issues. Aftermarket exhaust helps with torque, reduces 3.5kg in weight and takes it to about 48hp which is more than enough. The only issue, if you see it as one, which I defo don't, it oil changes every 1200 miles - but that takes 15mins and is fun in my book anyway.

May i kindly ask ? How do you keep the alt rider hemisphere bag away from the exhaust heat ?

Just ensure it’s welll over the side panels. I did buy some more of the heat shield stuff to stick on the inside of the side panel to double it up when I got the FMF exhaust, but it doesn’t get that hot.

How are the Trackers on road and off?

They are Ok on the road, a bit wild on wet roads, but to be expected I guess with the tread pattern. Off road they have been great, no issues at all on wet grass or greasy trails. The only things i haven't used them on is wet rock and wet roots, but otherwise they hook up very well. They are wearing down pretty fast, well the rear is, guess I'll be lucky to get a 1000 miles out of a rear, but they if the compound was harder they'd be shite on wet stuff.
