It's time for version 3 of the M3 exhaust setup. This time I pull out the old Dinan exhaust that came on the M3 and add it to the Dinan Midpipe that I installed before. This was the last setup on my past M3.

I'm guessing this isn't the final version, but it's pretty dang good. I like this one way better than the previous two versions. It still has a little rasp, but it's not bad at all.

Video never does exhaust tones justice - but man I think it sounds really good. But like you, I've traded around exhaust setups a few times on vehicles to really dial it in...so, I'm sure this isn't the last iteration.

The term "drone noise" drives me infinitely crazy. If you are messing with the stock, or wanting a performance exhaust, then who cares about "drone noise". That's part of the game. Plus, "drone noise" sounds great inside the vehicle. Last but not least, when did this phrase become part of our vocabulary, because I can remember growing up in the 70's and 80's and no one ever talked about this when adding exhaust to their muscle cars.

I see a blowout sale for pressure washers in the near future! ;-) As for the exhaust. I think this full Dinan setup sound very nice and with that diffuser or rear lip. The tips are fine. Not sure I like the defuser, I think your car has a great clean and nice look to it. You see lots of M3 with too much carbon hanging off them, but you always look at a real nice set up clean e90/92. Well I do anyway. However In saying that I do like the Black Crome Grill and side vents. Anyway I am looking at them for my e90 M3. Not sure you have the Exhaust right yep but once you do some videoing driving it that my be different. I saw some aFe Exhaust that seemed interesting and added HP supposedly. Anyway looking forward to more progress. Thanks for this journey

Dropped you a comment on Instagram, I don’t use it much so I’m not sure if you’re as active there as here, but didn’t see a email listed and can’t really blame you there. What do you think about OG twist on commercial car wash bays. There’s obviously a couple ways you could do it but in the end it would need to be a certain standard to bear your name Could you take your industrial equipment for car cleaning knowledge and do the unattended bay better or would differentiating yourself be a challenge that not even a grassroots word of mouth type of continuous campaign would work. I’d think at least in more dense areas with a larger car scene it could work with smart advertising instead of traditional routes. I’ll shut up now before I list 20 different fantastical ideas and sound crazy

Yeah I just came down here to post about a rolling tool cart. I need one badly. Even though I set up a small work table next to my car when I did my timing belt and oil pan gasket over the Thanksgiving holiday, I still kept losing stuff. Either I left it on the floor, or put it on the work bench, or put it on the work table. I need a rolling cart to have everything close at hand at all times.

@@chriscolburn4244 yeah I recently binged Eric The Car Guy's Mini Cooper series, where he always had all the tools directly at hand on the tool cart. I saw that and was like DANG I NEED ONE!!!
