It really wasnt doing perfectly fine. After that whole 360 dollar FF deathbox BS, Respawn and EA realized they could implement the new, scummier type of collection event and have gone hard on the gas on it. Log in to the game and see. Theres literally more shops to buy skins and cosmetics than there are gamemodes to play. It was predictably greedy before. Now its a new, unexpected way of being greedy with the battle pass splits following the already annoying ranked reset splits

It's on sale for 7 bucks on steam right now. Prince of Persia lost crown is a brilliant ubisoft game I recommend if you don't have it. Full game, no microtransactions or glitches. 100 percent the game because I love it so much.

Coincidentally I uninstalled Apex Legends precisely a day before all this BP fiasco because it has become a tiring and draining experience. The servers are shot, cheaters are rampant, the game has become sweaty, microtransactions have become unbearable, and all of that has taken the joy out of the game. No matter what they add it is not ok to pay 20 dollars per season. First we get reactive recolors for 160 dollars , they removed it and added it back in full force, generic heirlooms for 300 dollars, removing thematic events and replacing them with gambling events , adding new shards for recolors making your apex coins and legend tokens even more useless, increasing the price of apex coins in store , increasing the price of skins in store ( 2500 to 2950) and telling you it's a discount. Also, worst case scenario, this is them deleting the arguably fair mtx for doubling the abysmally terrible FOMO limited battle pass system that's hated far more. If you link a different email you will lose all items and levels in different games too that is related to EA. I lost everything. I called customer support and did everything I could paying hundreds of dollars into stupid cosmetics and they couldn’t do anything. Nothing. Never again EA.

I stopped caring about the battle pass years ago, I just forced myself to spend the coins on packs instead of buying the next BP. Trust me Its so much better when you no longer feel like you have to play the game to progress the BP, and of course you dont have to care about doing the challenges.

After 5 years i'm done with Apex Legends!!! they keep doing dumb shit like this and changing everything each season. I'M DONE i uninstalled Apex earlier this morning. i won't miss it much.

Ea took my account away. I play on Playstation, and they one day decided just to literally close my ea account, essentially banning my playstation account telling me it was an error they can't fix I lost access to all my online ea games and acess to some. And customer service refused to help me or even let me talk to a head of staff or a manager

My real takeaway from this video is that Reddit is also super scummy. I quit that site last year and to see a "Meta - Promoted Content" section directly underneath a post above the comments is EXACTLY THE KIND OF THING I HAVE COME TO EXPECT and is the very reason I deleted my account.
