Gotakibono, the problem is that people keep buying from these industries and time after time disapointed by the small amount of enjoyable playtime you get out of it if any at all. If we don't want to see these kind of games anymore, we need to hit them where it hurts... V47, I think you are seeing hypocrisy where none exists. People are not talking about Rockstar games at present because there isn’t a major full priced Rockstar game coming out this week. People are discussing the issues immediately prevalent. Not mentioning them is not an omission from the discussion but rather an issue of immediate relevancy. Right before Shadow of War came out, it was the immediate issue and everyone was talking about it. People were concerned and then proven correct that the presence of loot boxes and micro transactions would affect the game in some way, which became abundantly clear in Act 4: Shadow Wars. It also left a bitter taste in the mouth because loot boxes and purchasing orcs devalued the whole experience of the Nemesis system. At present, every major game coming out has included microtransactions and what we are witnessing is the gaming pot boiling over, with EA and Dice, being the most egregious with how far they are pushing the envelope are getting most of the flak.

Correct. For December they are gonna add Finn and Phasma, for even more credits of course. So it's only likely they are gonna do the same for most of the Clone Wars Jedi. They said Cross-Era gameplay and only Darth Maul and Yoda are here right now. PM Freak yeah, the only way to fix this is by legislating that paying for rng content is gambling and thus has to follow the same restrictions as online casinos, because that would force the industry to change or demand ID-checks for every player and purchase which would cut the potential customer base in half, and that's money they just can't afford to loose which in turn will eliminate rng-microtransactions

Watermelon Chicken so vader and luke are 30k credits together. the story only hands out like 5k credits right? And there is a ceiling on how many sets of 100 credits you can get from arcade, so you either did quite a few MP matches and resisted opening any crates (to like progress your characters and stuff) and you likely burned through most of the easy challenges leaving you with a grind to open any of the crates you require to be competitive (unless you're pretty talented) or you can spend some cold hard dosh to get on level with everyone else.

Now it's 1.95 for a box where you get fractions of different scenes and then when you finaly get all the pieces for a scene, you have to put them in the right order to watch the scene. Sometimes you get to watch the same scene over and over again because you don't have any luck and the boxes only give you pieces for the same scene and sometines you see the end of the movie before anything else and can't do anything with it.

I thought they were fixing things by lowering the cost to unlock Vader and the other heroes but lowering the credits you get and limiting those you can get farming in arcade mode is insane. To go back to the mobile game analogy: at least most games give us a way to earn their premium currency through either playing the game and getting achievements or from daily login bonuses.Even a free to play player can earn enough to be able to get a chance to draw from the gacha. I cant say I remember for sure, but firefight outside of matchmaking doesn't give you as many credits either. Firefight in matchmaking however, can net you a lot. Point is, outside of daily or weekly challenges, PvE in Reach did not give you nearly as many as multiplayer. Legendary challenges for campaign gave you the most
