A tip for submission attempts. Stare at the center. Don't look at the individual gates. Stare at the center and it should help you with keeping those defense gates slow. Ps: learn the climbing guillotine. And single leg guillotine reversal. Both are 2 gate subs I believe.

The press conferences are not interactive. They just show you bits of them every so often. The career mode is a lot better than the last 2, but undisputed 3 still has the best career mode.

Yeah, I hope this was a: "We tried to put them in there but our execution wasn't good" situation, not a: "Let's take this thing they want and make it as bad as it gets, but still good enough to put it on a trailer to get some pre-orders." The injuries are annoying but they are realistic! I'm only 19 and I broke my toe before my third fight, took almost no damage in the fight and still injured my right shoulder! Rarely do fighters go in uninjured

As a boxer I can completely agree with this. I’m 19 with 7 bouts under my belt and a clean record but during training. I’ve pulled my shoulder on a heavy bag. Sprained ankle in a foot work exercises but the injuries never affect you much during a bout your mind is so focused you forget about the injury

Wow.. i really hate the fact they built up the press conferences and the weigh ins as their own SEPARATE thing, when they're actually just apart of UFC Minute? You have to be kidding me, what was the point of presenting it like that in such a big way when it's nothing but a 3 second to 5 second long cut scene? Super disappointed, thankfully the game is still good enough for me to play, so is the career mode giving it looks nice, but seriously that leaves a dent in my excitement.

You were not sparring correctly. What that bar was telling you to do was to land 3 piece combos 5 times with the 3rd one being a kick hence the instruction ending with a kick. So you go "punch punch kick" 5 times . That's it

1) They were asking you to throw 5 combos of 3 hits, so 2 punches and a kick, not 4 and a kick. 2) I don't know if you noticed this yet since I'm not done the video, but you don't need 12 submissions. You need 6 of the 10 of the first group of achievements and 2 of the 4 of the second. So if you really don't think you'll be able to do it, go for other milestones. It said it right under them, go ahead and check. Anyway, I enjoy these videos, so thank you for uploading.

Fuuuuck, the game looked amazing until I found out about the lack of interactive press conferences. I don't even care if my fighter doesn't have an actual. I just want to be able to choose what I say to my opponents during the cutscenes, choose whether to touch gloves, shake hands and/or get in my opponent's face during weigh-ins, etc. Then again, for an EA game, this did look too good to be true.

Also, the training part with the combinations means you throw a three-strike combo with a kick at the end, so *punch-punch-kick* and you have to land 5 of those. so *jab-straight-leg kick* for example

They should create a mode where users can jump into others careers and fight as their opponent. Think it could revolutionize career modes across all sports games. They already track rage quits and rankings. So you could either limit it to those on your friend list or open it up to those who meet difficulty and rage quit thresholds. But it'd be fun knowing you have a 5 year career going and your CAF is fighting for the title and I could jump in and keep you from winning it. Most of all, it's the only fix I've been able to come up with for the AI problem inherant to all sports sims.

That's a fantastic idea, it could make for a very multiplayer experience where everyone goes on their own individual career while fighting real players throughout. And I actually like the AI in this game, not perfect but the computer generally knows how to actually use a character and will play with actual strategy.

you dont mix up ur strikes at all..you basicly always go 1-2-3 to the head or 1-2 head and then body. you never throw leg kicks ot change distance, just stand there and take ur turn striking.

If you want to get the sub easier just try to block all his transitions on the ground. Don't even strike him, just wait for him to block his transition and when you drain his stamina go for sub.

Martial I have a question. Can you choose your martial art like if you want to be a boxer. I know we have striker and brawler etc but sometimes Bruce Buffer says a Muay Thai kickboxer and jiu jitsu fighter. Anything?
