Genius!! this video changed the game for me in a big way. Brought it to life on the wheel. If anyone has a fanatec wheel seriously give these settings a try. This guy knows what hes talking about. Thanks for the video

Cheers!! Lowering the DPR and increasing the Tyre friction definitely made a huge difference. I can feel the change in grip when sliding much better along with the added fear of losing grip and crashing when cornering.

Can't wait for my boost kit to try these settings, you made me fall in love again with sim after trying your settings for logitech g920. I'm so so thankful for your amazing patience to test and share your knowledge 🙏 well done mate and thank you

These settings are great! Best experience I've had using the wheel since I've gotten it, especially love the feeling on tarmac, can really feel the edge of the grip. Thanks.

Thank you so much, no idea why game devs didn’t create working default profiles for at least top-3 wheels/manufacturers. On default settings force feedback and effects are like NFS game (Fanatec DD 8nm)

Hi, thank you work your work again! I have a CSL DD 8Nm with Clubsport BMW GT V2 rim.. these settings seem very good, on gravel especially, although maybe the wheel feels a bit heavy on the Fanatec control panel side. And on tarmac maybe a bit too heavy, maybe... I upped the SAT to 59 and suspension to 110, collision to 100 for personal taste. The idea about turning the damper down on the Fanatec side seems legit! Previously I was quite happy with this setup below, but I think yours communicate better on gravel turns. Fanatec: FFS 100, FFS Linear, NDP 17 NFR 3 NIN OFF INT 1 FEI 100 FES 100 SEF OFF DES 100 Game: SAT 83 WF 8 TF 26 SUS 130 TS 54 ENG 83 COL 130

I'm still working on settings for the Logitech direct drive wheel. I can't put any of the in game sliders above 40 without being completely overwhelmed. I might have to turn the wheel base down to turn in game settings up. I'm not sure what would be better. Thanks for the info, i'm know i don't use Fanatec wheel but still gives ideas
@RALLYTechnical7 ай бұрын
Leave the software at full torque. You'll then be dialling down the self-aligned torque in the game. Start at 50% and increase it one at a time. As a little goes a long way with that setting. If you can with the logitech software, dial down the in game damping. As EA Sports WRC is over damped.

Curious.. I am on console, CSL DD, just got boost kit yesterday, but when it comes to calibration.. I notice your game says 25' something.. but you have the wheel set much lower. So would it be better to calibrate the max the wheel can rotate, or the rotation I use? Thx.. but great settings.. you have been my go to for anything rally for many years.

Hi! Loving your setup for the csl/ dd pro. Can I expect for a dd extreme setup in the future? It is my new base and I can't find the correct settings, I'm not very clever to do it. Thanks for all!!!

my steering angle keeps getting messed up. i always calibrate it to 540 degrees or whatever is realistic. but every time i drive the car it is way too sensitive to the point where a few degrees of rotation is full lock. any tips?
@RALLYTechnicalАй бұрын
Soft lock is your problem here. If you want it locked at 540 for every car you will need to turn soft lock off. However, if you want to experience the older cars as intended, then calibrate your wheel to 1120 and leave soft lock on. Soft lock automatically changes the wheel lock to match the car. So if you have your wheel calibrated to 540 and have soft lock turned on while driving a modern rally car your wheel lock will be 270. On a side note, modern rally cars have a wheel lock of 560. Hope all this info helps you have a better sim rally experience my friend.
@aegean0019Ай бұрын
so if i calibrate to 1120 then modern cars have 560 which is 280 in each direction. and the older cars will sort themselves out. and lastly linearity should be at zero? thanks for all the help man. i had it set up before but there must have been an update that messed up my settings. but thanks again
@aegean0019Ай бұрын
also on my fanatec wheel i have SEN on auto. and would like to keep it that way so i dont have to change that setting when i play a different game on my console. just so you know
@RALLYTechnicalАй бұрын
@aegean0019 correct to everything there. Linearity will be '0' for modern cars and the lock will be automatically 560. Cars around 720 will be -1. Cars around 900 will be -2. Cars that are 1000 above will be -3. Doing this will speed up the travel at top dead centre to stop the older cars from feeling so numb. I'm not sure if I put the breakdown for Linearity in this video but it's definitely in the Moza R9 wheel settings video.

You will have to increase the self-aligned torque in-game by around 3-5 and that's it.

Good job! 👍🤟💥Which is better to lower , so that it would be easier to steer? Linear ? It's a little hard on the asphalt
@RALLYTechnical7 ай бұрын
self aligned torque in game is the best to lower. but a little goes along way with that. so lower it increments of 1 until your happy with the output force.

I have been driving with these settings for a couple of hours and it is aeesome, it gives the whole life to this game. Thanks for that. But I have a doubt: if I put 1120 degrees and enable soft lock, am I using the original degrees of the car? Or should I put "auto"? And, using the listed degrees and sentitivity (mega job) for each car, should I turn off the soft lock? Thanks for this incredible guide, man!!
@RALLYTechnical7 ай бұрын
Hey, you can just leave it on auto but if you turn it to 1120, recalibrate your wheel. Leave soft lock on and it will match the cars original lock. I only suggested that because having to rewind and fast forward in replays and having to spin the wheel 2500 degrees was getting tiresome for me 😅
@triskis20007 ай бұрын
@@RALLYTechnical thanks for your answer, I'll leave auto degrees. But, if I choose your guide for the degrees and sensitivity, soft lock "on" too? Sorry for insist
@DIVERSITY_MEDIA7 ай бұрын
How exactly would I change the lock for each car in game? Do I leave the wheel on auto and then guesstimate the lock in the calibration menu?
@RALLYTechnical7 ай бұрын
You can leave the wheel on auto. Calibrate it in game and leave soft lock turned on. It will then automatically swap to the authentic lock for each car. Linearity will have to be adjusted manually each time you change car if you want to follow the guide I created.

Other than the self aligning torque, do you think all other settings could be applied to the same values on a ClubSport DD 12 NM base?
@RALLYTechnical6 ай бұрын
Hi, so they are both using the same software on the same game. So in theory it should be a self aligned torque adjustment but you also should be able to set the fanalab software to linear if it still puts out 12Nm. If it doesn't and feels weak, keep it on peak. To start target 40% self aligned torque and test the feel on the long radius corners on asphalt only. That's the only time you will feel the full force your base is putting out.

What do you suggest for console users im on xbox myself. The wheel friction and wheel friction are unavailable on the ingame settings. On the wheel rim settings we also dont have game spring or game dampening strength settings, should we change any in game settings to equal your settings or does the console software do it by itself.
@RALLYTechnical2 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, I can't help you with the console settings as I don't have an Xbox or the Xbox version of the game. However, to get advanced tuning mode on your fanatec wheell. Press the button to open up the settings on your wheel and press it again but hold it for 3-5 secs to unlock advanced tuning mode.
