I think we got a LOT of content for the price, they aren't going to add cars and locations as extras when it's a yearly game... or at least a yearly content drop. Now is about fine-tuning the game, fixing stutters, improving visuals/audio and all that stuff.

It is nice that they keep updating the game, but i refuse to believe this is anywhere near the best CODEMASTERS can do. There has to be a big leap in graphics & performance. Dirt Rally 2.0 is a proof that they can do much better with their previous game engine. If they can't make it to that level on UE engine then they should just switch back to EGO engine. Long stages aren't worth the performance & graphics loss.

Seriously man I've seen modders do better job than CM nowadays, but I can't blame them because I bet some lovely layman at EA told them to use the free Unreal Engine to save costs, they can say this and that about the Ego engine is dated but it's hard to believe devs and publishers nowadays... My opinion: When it came out I bought the premium pre-order bundle, and the stuttering was so bad on my PC (4070 ti and 5800x) that i literally gave up and played dirt 2.0 instead. I was beyond disappointed. I can now confidently say its currently my favorite game to play on my CSL DD. I keep car reflections on ultra low, and crowds on ultra low, everything else on ultra 4k native. With the help of g-sync, the stuttering is basically gone now. HOWEVER, my obs recordings still come out stuttering no matter how low the settings in both wrc or obs. ITS SO CLOSE TO PERFECT. Thank you guys for working hard to fix your game. I know for a fact problems like these are almost never the devs fault. Its always an issue of time.

I find running OBS as Administrator, and closing all unnecessary things helps a lot.

@@bdandon6647 gotcha yeah I have tried that. I'm just using my second PC to record for now. I haven't tried again in a week or so now so it could be fixed. I also did a clean windows installed since I was having trouble so we'll see if it's fixed. Thanks tho!

Reading this comment section, there are still so many people who have very little good things to say about this game, to downright bashing it. Therefore, I’m gonna throw in some honest positive feedback: After the most recent patch, everything is working so much better (PS5). It’s not perfect, but it’s very fun, playable… and immersive! Also, the graphics can be a little hit and miss sometimes, with some strange snow, rain cloud movement effects. But, overall, I think the game looks good too really great in many situations. I feel the biggest difference from DR 2.0 graphically is more so in the dramatic lighting effects, which WRC 23 seems to lack. Basically, I think WRC 23 looks more realistic, but not as “beautiful” as 2.0 could at times. Anyway, I think people are being a little bit unfair about this game with their criticism. It’s been often very frustrating since launch, but you can tell they’ve put a ton of work into it and I’m excited and optimistic about where it can go from here with more tweaks and polishing.

Its added like one of the official liveries so you can only apply it when selecting the car for a stage

I don't think these liveries are available for builder cars. Only the official WRC Ford, Toyota and Hyundai. Unless I am mistaken.

Keep the patches coming! Any plans to work on the rwd handling? The snap oversteer is weird. Should be able to slide the back end out some and control it. I find myself doing everything i can to avoid any on power oversteer. Its a bit of a bummer because i loved rwd in dr2. Fwd and 4wd cars feel pretty good, however. Honestly ive never had so much fun with fwd cars in a rally game before.

I was hoping that new seasons would bring 1 new car or at least more parts/designs for the vehicle builder. The skins take forever to unlock. It's not worth it. And still no VR? I was willing to wait for the optimizations. Fortunately, it happened fast. But the VR is taking too long. 90% of my time in Dirt 2.0 was in VR.
