Yep, they can do that. They do own that design. Is it kinda shitty? Maybe. But I didn't preorder heat. Few people did as digital preorders are dumb as fuck. It's £6. £2 per car. Now, I wouldn't use the volvo or the evo, so it's basically £6 for the golf. And I think most people will want the golf only lol. That being said, I don't think I'd use the golf either so for me, I just wouldn't buy it. If you actually put some thought into your purchases, you'll find yourself not buying certain things in every single game that offers any kind of microtransaction

The pack with the 3 cars and the Ford should’ve all been in the speed pass. Literally have a paid version of the speed pass that costs $12-20 usd. All these things are what the other games do. The McLaren F1 drop they did for Heat was fantastic imo.

I'm going to be honest here, this video just showed me more ways of how Need For Speed can be monetize in not a very good way and I am not for it in my opinion. I'd say as long as they don't do something like Payback or more monetizations, it should be fine.

I may be speaking for myself but I would like to see some type of brand/collab packs. For example, like a work wheel pack which would include like 2 or 3 new wheels with some vinyl designs related to wheels or brand and other miscellaneous items of customization. Something of this nature would be cool to see kind of how they do it in call of duty with cosmetic packs. Another example would be like a Greddy Performance pack, which would be a "Hero" car with special livery from a real world car with other miscellaneous items. Something of this nature.

Umm…that Varis Kit for the Evo isn’t even a Varis kit. That’s The Kyza’s kit from NFS Heat Deluxe edition’s Evo X. They charged us twice for the same kit in two games…🤦🏽‍♂️

i was so sad to see the K.S Kit disappear after heat it was my favorite kit for the evo and the evo was one of my main cars that I'd use, it's even more sad to see it all locked down in a preset now without the ability to customize it i'd have a mix of K.S Parts amongst others i hate when body kits are fully locked down i understand having "restricted" parts the require certain other parts to be used eg certain cannards cant fit on certain front bumpers and certain boots can't be used with certain spoilers but locking the whole kit down like it's NFS 2015, i thought we were past that by now...

Those kits are all the same though. With the m3 gtr, you can't edit anything, with the free r32 you can't change anything. With the countach you can't change anything. You have never been able to switch and swap panels with any other cars thus far.

I'd say these packs are 'Pay-to-Win lite', because it grants access to the respective cars. Granted, there aren't any upgrades, but certain cars are locked behind challenges that you need to do to get access to them. I'm never against the cosmetics idea of this, but the fact that it grants access to the base models also.

I have an idea for story mode. You play on hardest difficulty and anytime you total your car you have to put it in the garage and you cant use it but if you get pulled over it stays in the garage for 1 full day before you use it again *you can only buy one car per day ** If you run out of cars to use you can sell cars to purchase one car. If you make it past the week you can bring back any one car from the garage *** If you can't buy a car or can't compete in the grand at the end of the week you lose the run and start over. If you decide to race someone else with this challenge the winner is the one who completes it first + 1 min to the timer for every car in the garage that you can't drive

customisation to me feels like the DNA of need for speed it arguably does it better then the other racing games, locking cars down like that so you cant customise them is dumb as hell, but i thought about if i would pay for the season passes if they came with all kinds of car customisation parts bumpers body kits glowy parts etc instead of character clothing that i dont care about i guess this would be harder as you have to make one size fits all samey body kits though which is already happening with the viper fog lights an the delorean looking similar, kind of like red dead 2's outlaw pass thing where u paid 15gold or w/e an got your money back through the pass..... i duno i dont make games lol
