There NEEDS to be a CAF system and a regression system. It’s absolutely ridiculous that for the past couple years the top ten in a division will remain that way for 10 years. Fighters don’t retire and they fight till their 50 that’s simply unrealistic

Is there any other sports game that doesn't have one in its career mode? I know its in 2K and FIFA, also kind of funny how there actually are fighters that retire when there are literal 60 year olds still in the UFC

I understand your view but think about it what are they supposed to do? Make a bunch of fake fighters the top 15? If they just throw in a bunch of CAF fighters then that would be far less realistic.

IIrc ufc2 at least had cafs that would be made and slowly rise up and replace the old generation of fighters, which I'd prefer over fighting the same guys on repeat@@DukeWang

It's bad however you put it. If you fight for like 10 years and you get some random created fighters to fight, you probably won't be motivated. If you get a 60 year old Fedor, it'll be unrealistic

Martial, if CAF'S shouldn't be allowed then all you're going to do is fight 50 Year Old Conor's and Khabib's. What you should talk to EA about is having the Current Real Life Fighters retire at around 40-42 and then they should feed the Player playing Career Mode, overpowered CAF'S that we don't know much about. By the time we reach Double Champ we're (The UFC 5 Player) overpowered and we've fought a Bunch of the Current Fighters twice. Having CAF'S that we don't know their style who are 4 or 5 Star Fighters would at least keep it interesting at the end of Career Mode. That's how Fight Night Career was. That way you weren't fighting 45 Year Old Oscar De La Hoya or 50 Year Old Roy Jones.

They focus so much on making money through multiplayer that they forget to actually make a good game that people want to buy. I just don’t understand why they choose to punish a subsection of its player base for playing a mode that they put in, and will inevitably move over to the profitable game mode for them.

Crazy how you be in multiple rounds and only lose 6% longevity. In UFC 4 i got a first hit KO and they took 12% ( i was peak fitness) and about halfway through my reign.

they should allow you to challenge people. not only give you fights. So you can decide if you want to move to other weight classes so that will allow you to be a champion in more than 2 classes

Honestly, why not set the time earlier, fight OG champs, and by the mid/end of your longevity the current champs are just arriving? So weird that they had 0 plan for an endgame. "Fight the same 5 guys until they are 60 years old" It feels like the simulated AI cant go on runs, they just have random W and L. They need to simulate momentum too so that people lower on the rankings can go on a tear.

I only play on hard cuz im just starting to get good at the game. But i enjoy the fact that you handicap yourself to make the fights abit more challenging. Love the no block challenge when i get better with my foot work and head work ill definitely be trying that one

they should really change the stamina system so ur not getting gassed after a few combos in the first few rounds but it actually just eats up your future stamina for later in the fight, that way u can actually try to finish heavy when u have someone hurt

Hey martial. Can you do an alex caceres showcase considering his new model? They kind of nerfed him stat wise for some reason which makes zero sense, but i still really like him, i like to incorporate slick back takes when using him. His subs are really nice.

I know you're not a big fan of fighting the CAFs martial, but I really wish more CAFs would come in to replace aging fighters in the later part of the career mode. Since in game, your career has been going on for 16-17 years by this episode, it honeslty makes a lot more sense to have new CAFS enter the division instead of fighting a 51 year old Beniel Dariush for the fourth time. Though I do wish they''d add some momentum to the CAFs tearing through a division to give you the impression that they're a real threat. I also think it could be interesting if the high rank CAFS stats and skillset were designed by the AI to counter the players playstyle, feel like that would honestly make the late career feel way more fresh.

I just finished carreer mode yesterday and was pretty much devastated that I cant use my carreer fighter in free fight modes! Who at EA thought "lets let the player build a character for around 15 hours, choose and level the moves etc and then NEVER let them use again!"??? Instead please use the generic 2,5 star version with pre selectes move sets you cant adjust in any way! Thats so BS

I think online woman career because than you be getting different fighters every time and not just AI over and over. But the training and leveling up your character's attributes is also cool in offline career.

I gotta disagree on no CAFs above real fighters. The only way career mode improves is if they provide compelling narratives and challenges for fights with created fighters. How else will you enjoy your career mode lasting until 2030+? A time where the current top 10 isn't in the 2033 UFC top 10, but your UFC career fighter is only early 30s?
