The only thing I really dislike about the new submissions is that they always tap, there isnt any animations for putting someone to sleep with a RNC or snapping the arm like UFC 4

Agreed, it gave more realism. Don’t think it is a hard thing to add in UFC 5 because it was added in UFC 4. Missed opportunity imo!🤷🏻‍♂️

​@@Deimian676you can support something without liking it. The best thing Henry can do is drop a dedicated video(s) highlighting everything missing or broken and what must be improved. It's important that he is very stern about it and not trying to defend the devs talking about resources or something like that. He needs to hold the devs accountable because he's the face of the combat sports community so people will automatically blame him.

You can get an anaconda but its just a transition off of your opponent escaping the D'arce, similar to calf slicer and heel hook here.

I would like to see maybe an implementation of the coach in the corner screaming “watch your left/right/etc” That would be a great experience for less experienced grapplers such as myself who have the understanding but not the time to memorize the animations and who has what options available. This also allows for a learning curve with transition fakes as the coach can potentially give a bad call and that cost you to lose position or effect stamina.

Yeah the D'arce escapes are completely flipped, I tried denying them incorrectly for 6 months before I realized. They should be swapped NOW, before it's too late. The current directions of momentum don't make any sense.

i got the von flue sub win from full guard with tony against islam the other day, i was going for a heel hook and denied his transition at the same time and it turned into a von flue so i went for it and it submitted him with only the second sub

You hold r1 when your in a submission position. This is setup to drain someone of their stamina bar so they can lock-in a submission. It also set up in a way for the person trying to escape to wait for a good moment to cook the bar then make a quick escape.
